And who is giving the Iraqi's the ability to govern themselves? The Coalition. Who ended Saddam's regime? The Coalition. A regime that would take the children of people that Saddam didn't like and pour batery acid in their eyes, or drill holes into their genitallia to scare their parent? The coalition. Who ended a regime who executed the soccer team because they lost in the Olympics? The Coalition. Who ended a regime who used to cut the hands of people they didn't like off, but more importantly, instructed the surgeon to remove the hands in a way where the nerves constantly caused the person severe pain in his amputated wrist for the rest of their lives? The coalition. Who just gave the country back to Iraqi's after they suffered major losses of their own country man. The Coalition. We will see a greatfull Iraq in ten years from now. A prosperous Iraq in 10 years from mow. And it will all be thanks to the brave peopel of the armed forces, and the leaders of the countries that made up THE COALITION OF THE WILLING". I don't care if we didn't find anything. I don't care that we spent all this money on the war. This was going on in the world and nothing was being done about it. And, like Uncle Ben says in Spiderman "With great power comes great responsibility." We are the most powerfull nation in the world, with the ability to end such acts. It is our calling. I know. "It was going on before", "We had dealings with Sadam in the 80's", "It is happening in other places as well." I know all that. But you go after one thing at a time. I see that in 10 years people in Iraq will be very greatfull for the sacrifices of the Coalition, and the area in general will be a better place to live.

......and I agree with them but, when are we heading to the Sudan? when are we going to liberate the people of Zimbabwe?.....Sadly not any time soon I think. The reason for that, I suggest, is that the U.S. consumes over 50% of the worlds oil output but produces only a fraction itself. The Sudan and Zimbabwe are not oil producing countries.
I am very happy that Iraq is hopefully heading towards better times, and of course they are well rid of an evil dictator. The coalition forces should be pleased with what they have acheaved, but lets keep things in perspective. After all, lets face it, we all want gas in our tanks tomorrow morning dont we?

In answer to your quesion agbout Sudan and so forth, all I can say is this. Yes there is stuff going on there. We just spent I don't know how many millions, as did other countries on Iraq War. Sudan will come if they don't straighten out. Bush was going after countries that, as he said in his speech after 9/11 were harboring terrorist. I know, the 9/11 commision said there was no terrorist in there. This report was made prematurely as all the info is not in. Please see my thread here:

The fact is that is the first country that we went after Afganistan. I believe that Syria is next, no matter who is in the white house. There is a lot of house cleaning that needs to be done, and it will take time to do it all.
