Here is a site that examines the views of the political candidates on many issues...
Click on favors topic or opposes topic on the right side and you will see the view of the candidate explained. At the bottom of the page you are taken to you can click on other politicians to see their view on the same topic.
It is very informative and time consuming and you will find many issues that you may not have considered before. You will disagree on some positions and agree on others and it is a useful tool to help you decide which candidate most matches your position.
Personally I am in total agreement with Kerry's view on guns and ammo, but in disagreement on other issues.
It is important to know what each candidate supports before we vote this year. It is too important an election to base one's opinion on one or two issues.
I hope this has some use for you.
