How many of y'all have played this series? Forget the films, they were crap; it's the games that were good. I've just bought AOD, despite it being shit, because I need to complete the collection.
How has everyone else done on them? Completed any? Nuked any?

I had the second game and completed it fairly quickly. 'Twas good.

Tomb Raider series got progressively worse after the first one. Have not really cared for it after that.
Oh, I beat the first one, I thought it was great.

I have all 6; five on the PSX and one on the PS2.
I've completed the first three, played about a third of the fourth. The fifth and six I've only glanced through.
I decided to go back and "nuke" the whole series from the beginning; which means killing every possible enemy, picking up every item and finding ever single secret as well as completing all the levels.
I nuked 1 and 2 about 2 years ago, then got half way through number 3, before getting bored and putting it away. Thankfully I didn't erase the savegame, because now the wind is blowing once again. I've just completed the first of the Antarctica levels now, so only three to go, not including the All Hallows bonus level. I'm on target for that because I've nailed every secret so far. 3 is the hardest one of the first three without a doubt. Looking forward to 4 because I'm an amateur Egyptology enthusiast. Doing battle with satanic Seth is summat that'll while away ten minutes or so. ;)

I liked her large breasts and i love angelina, but other then that, didn't really do anything for me. If i want to play first person shooter games, i play RE or Silent Hill, and Vice City, if you include that.

I basically thought the series began to suck sometime around 3.

There's not much cerebral content to those though. It's pretty much "go here, do that". With Tomb Raider you have to bend your mind round the angles, which is what I liked.

I have 1-4 and the Gold Edition. I never did play the latest one or that chronicles one.
I've beaten all of the games that I do have though. I used to really like Lara Croft, and would draw her all the time. Sigh, if only I had been drawing anime-style back then the pictures would have looked really, really good.
I agree with the majority here in saying that the series got progressively worse. I think it started with 3 and went downhill from there. Even though the graphics, cinemas, gameplay, and AI system got progressively better with each one, the storylines and plots weren't as good as they were in the first and second.
I've never even seen either of the two Tomb Raider movies. I saw parts of the first one one tv, but it didn't interest me. I lost touch with the series after the fourth game. I have some of the comic books though.

I did love Lara Croft! It was a great concept. The movies held so much promise but delivered so much crap. And Angelina Jolie as Croft?! That was enough for me.

Not Silent Hill, no.
