...as a kid, and maybe still are? I'd have to say, in no perticular order...
Frosted Flakes
Corn flakes
Cap'n Crunch
Lucky Charms
Rice Krispies
and the occasional shredded wheat. The big ones.
Nowadays, I don't eat ceral much. Maybe oatmeal once in a while. I'm pretty big on leftovers for breakfast. This morning, for example, I had a couple of beef and bean burritos. Not bad at all.
No I don't have a stomach! You got a problem with that?
Heh, heh, heh!

I go way back to the 60's where you used to get cereal like:
Crispy Critters
Sugar Smacks
Sugar Pops
Cocoa Crispies
Shreddies
Living in Canada,I kept seeing American ads for a product called
"Maypo".What was that stuff like? Anyone? Can you still buy it?
(I know this has nothing to do with cereal but I thought I'd add this):
Even though you can now buy "Marshmallow Fluff" in Canada,I've still not bought the product to make these so-called "Fluffer-Nutters" which I heard about in the 60's.I believe it was basically marshmallow fluff on bread -wasn't it?

OH
MY
GOD
Someone who remembers Crispy Critters!!!
Now, I was born in the 80s. But my favorite commercial on TV from childhood was for that cereal, with the yellow puppet critter who sounded like Jimmy Durante, and the animals came marching out of the box, and they all took turns with this adorable little girl saying the word "indubitably". . . and then the critter hugs her and says "Ha cha cha cha". . . aaaaaww I miss it so!

God, I miss being 7... plopped comfortably on the floor--in front of the TV--on a lazy Saturday morning, with my bowl of milky goodness!
Mmm...and the perfect compliment to My tasty bowl of cereal? CBS cartoons, featuring Looney Tunes ("On with the show, this is iiiiitt!"), Fat Albert and the Greeeen Hornet!
Hey, it just occurred to Me: isn't it funny how GRAPE NUTS isn't on ANY kid's list of fave cereals? Yeech--talk about an acquired taste!

Does anyone remember a cereal from the 70s called "The Freakies?"
They came with either a plastic Freakies character, or a Freakies magnet. They're all over eBay.

As a child, I love Sugar Frosted Flakes, and I put extra sugar on top. :D
This likely explains the large amount of dental work that I needed as a child. :(
