Yes, that's Princess Lana from the old Nintendo-based cartoon 'Captain N'...and yes, she's wearing a NES Power Glove (but not her boots) and holding a NES Zapper. Obscure, but cute (thank Scamwich for suggesting/requesting it, as I probably wouldn't have recalled her otherwise).

I have no guesses on the character since it's been quite a while. Although I'dd like to say Final Fantasy or the Dark Crystal.

Explode, huh? Well I'd say you certainly captured the prefacial image for that moment. ^^; And it's okay that you haven't drawn her recently. Your other images of her were supreme.
