Well, after talking with MTJ and receiving numerous emails, I've decided to bring Topin back. The story is going to pretty much pick up where it left off back in 2001. This doesn't mean that Stipplewitz is buried. The titles will alternate back and forth on releases. But anyway, here is the first promo and some sketches of the new updated look for her. Hope you all enjoy. :D

Nice. Topin's character design seems to have progressed, but then again I was never able to keep up with Topin.

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!!!! I have like all of the original Topin toons you did, along with (I think) all of those older fantasy ones you did too. Looks like a few years have passed since then for Topin though, shes definitly...."matured"....:wow: I hope you'll do a few freebies for your fiercely loyal but fiercely cheap fans...LOL

 Topin was my all time favorite art in the past, and now she's back! Maybe we'll find out what all that training was for.
Personally, I don't like the new look..she looks, like, 30-40...I thought she looked a helluva lot better before.

Heh heh, she's baaaaaaaaaaaack! Topin's definitely looking noticably more mature when we remember her as that fresh-faced, grey streaked-haired, doe eyed young'un. In any sense of the word, it's great to have that snappy little girl back! Now all we need is her laughter face now!

What? Ya mean when she looked like a 13 year-old girl? LOL I liked the young appearance too, but as TomatoDragons style grew and involved, so did his characters.
Hey TomatoDragon, I have a request. I'm curious to see what the earliest version of Stipplewitz looked like, if you still have the sketch anywhere. Its always great to see how a character evolves through time....
Hell, the earliest version of Cali I have has her as a regular human...

Good point, Cheshire. And in the end it's all Tomato's decision. Either way, we love your work, and want to see more!!
Course, I'm sure there's a point where characters stop maturing...I don't think you want to see Topin running away from a feather while using a walker...

Thanks all for your responses.
FF7,
Very true, the style Topin is drawn in has changed somewhat...hopefully for the better :D
Restif,
LOL...I'm taking it that u are pleased? ;)
Cat,
Wow..all the Topins plus those fantasy pics? I forget I did those fantasy ones hehe. And yes...there will be Topin promos.
Falcon,
Glad u like the updated version, and of course feet tickling will be involved...after her shoes and socks are removed :D
Rajee,
Thanks man. Appreciated.
Klepto,
Thanks alot. Yes, the story will unfold as to what the Doc is training her for. As far as the new look, I don't think I could draw her the way I use to even if I tried just because my style has evolved over the years. I also didn't want to just draw Stipplewitz again but with a different hair style so I decided to make Topin more curvey, and with a slightly longer face...along with different hair of course. Hopefully future pics will be more to ur liking :D
Chimp,
Thanks man. I appreciate the kind words. I'm still not sure if I'm gonna bring back the grey streak or not. And don't worry, laughing faces soon to come.
Cat,
Here is the earliest drawing of Topin that I could find. Definitely a difference hehe.

Thats awesome...so you don't have the early sketch of Stipplewitz?

Oops, sorry, I misread and thought u said the earliest sketch of Topin. This is the first drawing I ever did of Stipp...even before I named her or wanted to pitch her to MTJ. I don't have the sketch scanned into the computer at the moment, but this is the finished version.

Hey the Topin ones kicks ass too, personally I like her better with the short hair, I dunno. Maybe thats just because I like short hair on girls...but anyway, I always thought this one looked slightly "off-model" compared to the rest...theres been a definite change in proportions and shape of the face. Love that warhammer...:D
