This guy needs to be taken off the air. He is a prime example of what the foxnews channel is all about.

Krokus, I strongly suggest that you check out the Mike Wallace interview on 60 minutes with him that aired yesterday. Pretty much when O'Reilly tells people to shut up, I agree with him. I think we need more O'Reilly's on the air! Comparatively speaking, O'Reilly and Fox News are the fairest on the air in showing both sides of any issue. I think there are those of you who do not want the conservative side shown concerning national media. If you want to start taking people or networks off the air (censorship?), why don't we start with CBS News and Dan Rather. That would make more sense.

.....I find is approach very refreshing in many ways, I often dissagree with him but I love his no nonsense style, we are more used to this combative style of interview in the UK (check out the "Today Programme" on radion four with John Humphrys and James Naughtie or check out Jeremy Packsman on "Newsnight") normally Bill tells them to shut up if they are refusing to answer the question he has put to them, but what pisses me off a lot more is when he REPEATEDLY says to a guest "I will give you the last word" and then cuts them off within a couple of seconds!!! that is really very bad, give them "the last word by all means".....and then Bill.........."SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LET THEM SPEAK!!!!"

I think that when you ask someone to be on your show, you should aty least give them time to talk. He doesn't. If I was on his show and he talked to me like that, I'd tell him to go fuck himself. After all, the guys got an ego that could fill the empire state building.

Jim, only you seem to feel this way. It's been shown over and over again that Fox is extremely biased and mis-informs it's viewers of the world around it. Now, i don't mind a view that is somewhat slanted to the right, as there are other medias that are somewhat slanted to the left. However, Fox is in a league of it's own when it comes to the shit they spew out, and O'Reilly is a moron, who loves to cut people off whenever they make a point or outsmart him.
As far as Dan Rather, you get bush to resign, and then we'll talk about Rather next. ;)

Then how come Bill O'Reilly is one of the top media talk shows out there? He cuts people off who don't stick to the point. If I'm the only person who felt that way about him, his show wouldn't be so popular. I hear you all bash him but you don't watch him! Ignorance is bliss. Watch him for one week and THEN form an opinion. I suggest you watch Hannity and Colms as well. Rather than taking a liberal blogger's view who takes snipets of his interviews out of context, watch his whole show. I'll talk to 'W' about resigning when you get all the senators and congressmen who oppose term limits (which are mostly liberal or democrats) to resign. I'm curious if either of you have even watched Bill O'Reilly's show.

I repeat... most people are idiots... by extension, most people have bad taste. You know, Jerry Springer is really popular too. Need I say more? All Bill needs is the crowd to chant "Billy," and voila...

I've watched his show and Hannity and Colms. Those of you who haven't seen them aren't missing much. I have to admit though... Hannity is a bit more subtle in his bias than O'Reilly. Telling people you don't agree with to just shut up is rather juvenile. In the same vein, however, telling him to go fuck himself in response is a bit too Cheney-esque for my tastes.

I huff at O'Reilly sometimes, I cheer for him others.
I am on the same page with him concerning the three
million illegal aliens that cross into the states each
year. I was glad he challenged President Bush on the
matter(As if Bush cared!).
I think he is sincere if not always a gentleman. And
far from always correct on the issues.
Don't care for Hannity - Sounds like a gentler Rush
Limbaugh to me. But I do think he is sincere also-
believes what he says.

Alan Colmes is the only decent guy on FOXNEWS. Hannity is waaaaay too stubborn and o'reilly is the biggest conservative on the foxnews channel. I saw his interview with president bush last night and in the debate afterwards, o'reilly is willing to say anything to defend bush, at all times. In fact, the only negative thing I've ever seen o'reilly say on bush is his border policy. other than that, it's all negative kerry segments and pro bush. I'll admit on some issues he is rather fair, but when it comes right down to it, it's obvious who he's voting for. He should come out and admit he's a republican rather than clinging to the lie that he is "independant".
