I've been noticing a trend lately, Howard avoids asking professional female public figures about the tickle chair(except for Pam and Carmen). Mainly it's been porn stars, Maxim models and lesser known actesses(Nikki). So I'd really be surprised if Teri Hatcher got strapped in. I noticed also he tried to completely ignore the subject when he had the asian film star and the soap opera gal visiting.

I believe her name is Bai Ling and she's in the new "Sky Captain" movie. When someone called in to tell Howard to put her in the tickle chair, he and Robin just blew it off.

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble or offend anyone, but...

I think Howard Stern is full of shit. He doesn't care about tickling whatsoever, and only does the tickle chair to keep us listening/watching his shows. And my personal belief is that he meets up with the lady before the interview, to tell them how to squeal, how to gyrate, etc. And when he met up with Bai Ling, she prolly refused-and that is why he blew it off. He is nothing but money-grubbing, and prolly is using this just for that.
I can almost guarantee anyone that he is not "one of us". That Bai Ling incident proved that.

So, in other words, screw Howard and all of his fake bullshit. I bet you have the girls in the tickle chair aren't even ticklish-they just "don't want to bore Howard's audience" and all that other fake Hollywood crap. :sowrong: Screw Howard:sowrong:

I am sorry you are so angry.
I do not think Howard Stern is always funny, but I am grateful for the tickling segments he has accomplished. Stern has not built his audience on just the tickling community. I believe that the post above from TKLDuo-Drew is on target. Howard Stern does feel more comfortable around certain celebrities. A person can not go and try to tickle every woman they meet.

Also, you are entitled to your opion but almost every tickle experience I have seen on the Stern show seems to be genuine to me.

pimpster, I think that you're full of shit. You got to be a total moran to criticize Howard for what he's done for the community! I apologize to the mods and the rest of readers for this somewhat childish behavior, but I won't stand having someone who's done absolutely nothing for us criticizing Howard, who's done more than anyone else!

I hear you on that one Brooklyn. I mean I'm grateful that they happen. Yeah, it sucks that he can't do that to every hot woman that he brings in but you know, it happens. Frankly, I found pimpster's opinion to be rather appauling. I don't see him getting female celebs in a chair and tickling them.
 
I am sorry if I offended anyone, I was just pissed about life in general, and so I took it out on Howard Stern.

I just figured that Howard always talked about how he could do anything and all this other stuff, and all this "kind of all media" stuff, so I wondered if he was just bullshitting and screwing us over by not getting big name stars like what that other guys said up top. Just now I read about how he might be more comfortable around certain people, and that was something I didn't think of.

I then reviewed my Nikki and Maria tapes, and decided you really couldn't fake those reactions, and Howards and Artie's real happiness. I was just about to post that, but you guys beat me to it.

Sorry for being an ass. And I wish I could put femal celebs in a tickle chair without being arrested, so I was prolly just jealous about that too.

So is your point of view that unless Howard is "one of us" (a fetish tickler) and tries to tickle every hot, female celeb on his show he is "full of shit"?

Or is your point of view that unless Howard tickles "sincerely" for his own "love of tickling" and not for ratings or to please viewers it is all "bullshit"?

Or is your point of view that if there is any professional coordination between Howard and his guests regarding the tickling segments then the whole thing is not worth watching?

I cannot see how any of these suggestions is logical or persuasive. You seem to be like a man who refuses to accept a gift of $500,000 because he was hoping for a million.

But perhaps your essential point is that the ticklish reactions of the girls look "fake" to you. If so, please consider these three facts: (1) Some people here would not care even if the tickling was completely staged and acted; (2) People here are quite good at judging the reality of tickling and most of us judge it to be quite decent--to be sure, some of it better and some worse; (3) For heaven's sake, it's celebs getting tickled!!!

Please rethink the issue.

No problem. The truth is that apparently I was composing my post while you were writing or posting your "apology", and so that when I submitted my post I saw yours just newly posted. But since I had worked on mine for quite a while, I left it up.

Let me take this opportunity to say again that I think we should all keep supporting Howard in his amazing tickling efforts.

I may make this my new TMF motto: "Have you thanked Howard today?"
