A link would be nice. If you don't want to add it all the time, you can go into your profile and put down the address. That way it will show up as a clickable tab on your user bar and people will know you have a site or group.

Also, another good way to advertize your group without having to do any of the either two things is just put the link in your signature. The way I have it with mine for example (although I'm thinking up a banner I could use that acts as a link instead). Doing this covers you forever and you won't always have to worry about whether or not you posted the link- it will always be there in your signature.
