I know I said that I would not be posting here again for a while, but I felt it was necessary to bring to your attention some of the sickening things Kerry suporters have been doing recently.

Bush the Nazi (http://www.channel3000.com/politics/3776992/detail.html)

Republican Headquarters Burgled (http://www.komotv.com/stories/33333.htm)

More Republican Headquarters Attacked (http://www.local6.com/politics/3785861/detail.html)

Kerry supporters act like thugs (http://www.wisgop.org/view.phtml?func=ch&lg=&id=83)

Assassination!?!?!!? (http://www.wbir.com/news/news.aspx?storyid=20241)

Democratic vandals (http://www.vaildaily.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20040928/ELECTION0302/40928002)

Funny how the so-called Democrats are trying their best to be as un-democratic as possible.

Articles in order:

1) No proof linking "desperate democrats" to what happened other than the State Republican party using it for political purposes.

2) "No evidence at the scene indicated this was politically motivated," police spokeswoman Jessamyn Poling said.

3) While it does not excuse what happened, this is worth noting: "We want to send a clear message to Bush, we want him to take his hands off our overtime pay," protestor Esmeralda Heuilar said. If these protestors have just seen a chunk of money they depended on to live go down the pan as a result of business friendly legislation I can understand them being pissed off.

4) No damage, protest that stepped over the line, spun for maximum impact by the Republicans. For that matter it is the height of hypocrisy to be calling for condemnation of the democrats for bad behaviour when exactly the same thing is going on to democrat signs and property in the area: http://www.wausaudailyherald.com/wdhlocal/281605168846551.shtml

5)"An unknown suspect fired multiple shots into the Bearden office of the Bush/Cheney re-election campaign Tuesday morning." (snip) "Volunteers and staffers at the campaign office say they have no clues as to who might have committed the crime. "

6) Yet again, no proof of who did it.

As far as this being something to knock the Democrats with... sorry, but this happens on both sides of the fence, at least with regards to the victims (most of those who do these acts are never caught):

Sign stealing we've covered, here's burglary:

http://www.cnn.com/2000/ALLPOLITICS/stories/09/13/dnc.burglary.ap/
(Yes, it's from the 2000 election, I can't be arsed to go googling for a more recent example for such a silly issue).

And I really can't be arsed to trawl through links to find the backup for this but there were confirmed reports of a small group of Republican supporters deliberatley antagonising peacefull protesters at the RNC.

In other words, both sides have their share of dickheads, don't blame the whole for the actions of a very small minority. Also, the sky is blue, the sun rises in the east and neither Santa or the Easter Bunny exist. None of this should come as a shock.

Somehow, I just knew somebody would try and write these instances off, and I had a good idea it would either be Cosmo or the Boffer.

It was probably Karl Rove. ;)

I'm not sure who's responsible for these deeds, Shire, but it is about time America had a revolution... hopefully, a French revolution to be exact... I guess Rage Against the Machine came out one decade too early....

1) No proof linking "desperate democrats" to what happened other than the State Republican party using it for political purposes.

You're right. It may well have been a couple of Bush supporters happily desecrating a field to make fun of their own candidate - just for a laugh.

"No evidence at the scene indicated this was politically motivated," police spokeswoman Jessamyn Poling said.

Again, I agree. I often read articles about Republicans ransacking their own headquarters...

You are right for a third time - it doesn't excuse what happened. No matter how pissed off you are, commiting a crime does not help your cause.

4) No damage, protest that stepped over the line, spun for maximum impact by the Republicans. For that matter it is the height of hypocrisy to be calling for condemnation of the democrats for bad behaviour when exactly the same thing is going on to democrat signs and property in the area:

I am well aware that there are Bush supporters doing this, too, and I dislike those people just as much. But that's not what this thread is about, is it?

5)"An unknown suspect fired multiple shots into the Bearden office of the Bush/Cheney re-election campaign Tuesday morning." (snip) "Volunteers and staffers at the campaign office say they have no clues as to who might have committed the crime. "

Again, it may well be a Bush supporter firing into his own headquarters. Or maybe just some crazy guy on nobody's side - who decided to fire multiple shots into a random building for no reason.

Yet again, no proof of who did it.

Blah blah blah blah blah...

I'm not sure who's responsible for these deeds, Shire, but it is about time America had a revolution... hopefully, a French revolution to be exact... I guess Rage Against the Machine came out one decade too early....

Yeah, let's go around vandalising, shooting and robbing every Republican in sight! Honestly, and you say Bush has made the world a more dangerous place. Just wait till he wins the election, then the Democrats will be out in full force, instigating their 'Revolution'... :sowrong:

Yes, but I couldn't sustain it. I just had to come back with my Nazi conviction and assault some liberals. :p

Is that fear I hear in your tone? Oh, I forget.. fear is what conservatives do best: either invoking it or succumbing to it...

I was going to leave the P & R forum because I was getting bored of it, but it turns out I wasn't and I'm not. Easy come, easy go.

MrMacphisto - Keep spouting the generalised, predjudicial bullshit; maybe in a few years you can run as leader of the opposition.

As BOFH put it best, there are people on either side who do these sorts of things. Disapointing really.

Let's stick to the issues and not worry about who is posting and who isnt.

Posts of that nature add nothing to the topic being discussed, and just fill space with mindless drivel.

I see far too much of that type of thing here in the forums and will begin to delete them as they pop up from this point on.
