NYC or LI gathering

I havent heard of any plans for a NYC or LI gathering or Munch are there any plans for one?

I REALLY wish I could attend this gathering in Albany, but it's just too far away and just doesn't fit My schedule for this weekend. Drat!

Has anything more come of these plans? I'd be interested too. I'm not in a position to help organize it this time around, or even put high odds on being free to attend, but these evenings are fun when they materialize, and a number of us have gotten together four or five times over the past few years in New York. So I'd be glad to be in the loop too, and I've found that posting the time and place here on this board has been perfectly safe; not a single troll has shown up. Colorful characters yes, but rapscallions, no.
