New York Times economist/columnist, Paul Krugman wrote an article about former employees of a firm hired by the Republican national commitee who said that their supervisors systemically "tore up" Democratic registrations which has now spurred an investigation by federal authorities. As expected, the Republican party national committee denies it claiming "The Democrats do it too", so there. The Republicans seem to be disperate to win the Whitehouse and will apparently do "anything" to attain that.

What was done is wrong (although I recall, what was actually beign doen was gistrations were beign rejected on minor technical defects) but it is disengenuous to present thess as exclusively Republicna tactics - politics is a dirty business. The Democrats can easily off-set this by having non registered and deceased persons vote or, as was attributed to Mayor Daly of Chicago, vote early and vote often!

Scee, I agree that politics is a dirty business but two wrongs doesn't make one right. It's still no excuse for what the Republicans did by destroying those voter registration forms and "oversampling" the polls to make it look like Bush is way ahead of Kerry.
