......come on guys! how do you put it? "enough already" just how long can it take? what the hell are you all going to do when its over? the whole thing is coming across like some annoying party guest who just wont leave the house, even though you have already given him his coat and car keys, and you are dressed in your pajamas, slippers and wooly hat.
How long before it all starts again? three months? three weeks? how strange that you wallow in this whole thing for so long, yet your sports seasons are over in a few weeks? we have it the right way round....call election, its over in a couple of months, play football for the rest of the year. "Way to go" as you colonial types like to say.

Actually red, I dont feel bored with it at all. Iam a history and politics major, so I find all the commentary important, and exciting. What happens this Tuesday will determine policy in the U.S. for the next four years, and it will be a very different policy depending on the outcome. If Kerry wins, I have great optimism that the country will be better, with the war issues slowly being resolved, and the economy rebounding more quickly as it did under Clinton in 1993. If Bush wins, it will be more of the same. More casualties in Iraq, a stagnant economy, and a policy of us being isolated from the world. We all have different perspectives, but to me, this is the most important election of my life time, and one of the most important in our country's history, so Iam anything but bored by it. Iam actually sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see what will happen.

So, what kind of job does a history and politics major go for upon graduation?

Drew, if you are so interested to know what I do for a living, why dont you either ask me in a civil manner, or better yet, read my profile. What Iam doing now isnt my final career choice. One day I actually aspire to being either in politics, or a political commentator. I remind you that your George W Bush didnt enter the political arena until he was 48, and he became president. I have a long time ahead of me to fulfill my goals.

I'm gonna have to side with Red on this one... Yes... this time of year, or rather, this year in general is always a bad one. It's quite ironic to see a nation that proselytizes its youth with words like "United we stand, divided we fall" and then see just how divided we can get in the span of a year. Canada looks awfully nice this time of year....
