Hi, I was reading this book called,"The Aprentice"written by Tess Gerritsen(Ballentine Books) and on page 268 paragraph 4 it says,"Does it? But over time, even a trivial itch begins to consume your attention.its always there prickling your skin. One form of torture, you know is to tickle the feet. It may seem like nothing at first. But then it goes on for days and days without relief. it becomes the cruelest form of torture. I think I've mentioned in my letters that I know a thing or two about the history of mans inhumanity to man. the art of inflicting pain.Torturers through the ages have always known the subtlest of discomforts over time become quite intolerable."
WOW! that paragraph really got me. I didn't expect that in a murder mystery novel.LOL! the line..."it goes on for days and days without relief", got my toes curling soooo bad!! to even think about being tickled that long on my feet is pure INSANITY! Well, hope you all liked my find. Bye.
