The recent earthquake in Aisa has taken around 60,000 lives. There we were eating chocolate, drinking beer, listening to the CDs or watching the DVDs we got for Christmas, and these people are all drowning or being crushed under rubble.

Nothing like perspective.

Sorry but I felt someone had to post something about this. To be honest I'm amazed/upset that no one posted about it sooner.

I do my best, I donate old but good condition clothing, canned goods and blood. I don't have much money but I do what I can... moeny isn't an object, we can all donate something.

To US, British, Australian and Norwegian troops in Iraq and Afghanistan I found out great things to send are,

Blankets,
Gloves,
Socks,
Toilet Paper,
Clean T Shirts (UNBELIEVEABLY cheap at dollar stores)
LIP BALM!!
Hand Lotion.
