Hello folks.

As some of you have no doubt noticed, four of the forums Mods; Mimi, qjakel, Dave2112, and Marauder now have a new title: "Senior Moderator"

What does it mean?

It's part of our new years efforts to make the forum run better and more effectivly. Think of it as a way for us to be a bit more organized in how we moderate the TMF. They are the same friendly people that they have always been. Never be afriad to send them a message asking for help, or to just say hello!

Oh great, inflate their egos even more. ;) :p

In all seriousness, there isn't a more worthy bunch, although Dave should have been Jedi Moderator or something of the sort. :D

Congrats to all the new senior mods. You are all worthy of the distinction. I, for one, appreciate the time all of you, Myriads, and all the staff puts in to run this place. I know it is not a paid job, and your dedication is appreciated.

"Senior Moderator"?....does that mean a TMF retirment home is being built?

:::sees the women moderators glare evilly , picking up Sonicare brushes:::

 ....What? It was an innocent question, I swear! :p

While "Jedi Moderator" is a good idea...the "Sword of Balance" pretty much implies that. It's what we do.

And by the way, Dan....I've been running around here with a lightsaber for over four years...nothing different now.

As Myriads so aptly stated, nothing has changed in our relationships with the fine members of the TMF and the community in general. We're only here because of you.

Here's to a wonderful future.

I am not a Moderator, never have been, and don't wish to become one. Too much work. I'm just here to have fun. :D

Besides, with the 60 sec rule not applying to mods (I believe), Mils would be a posting demon.:D

*raises hand* :ermm:

That would be me, sir. But it's far too long to fit in the moderator sub-title slot! Besides, I sure as heck don't want to ADVERTISE that fact! LOL!

Actually I am quite intriged by the "Iron of Reparation" Sub-Sub-title...

Oh and Mimi..I LOVE your new sig!!!:wow:

Iron as in steam iron, which is used to smooth wrinkles out of clothes.

Reparation means the act of making amends.

So "Iron of Reparation" amounts to the one who smooths the way and makes amends. A bit cryptic, I know. ;)

And THANKS! I'm rather proud of the new sig myself! :D

Mimi ORRRRRRRR.... While I'm sure that definition would be perfectly logical, it could ALSO be taken in the context of reparations being a means of repaying a debt, so what I'm heaing in there is her puttin' some payback on the business end of an iron! WHACK! :D (betcha mine's closer too, innit Laz?) ;)

So what are all the other snazzy titles? Is there an Eggplant of Verisimilitude, or a Ladeling Spoon of Mild Discontent? Perhaps a Bemused Groundhog of Existential Indifference or a Spork of Ennui?

See, that right there is why I feel safe I'll never be asked to be a moderator :D
