Are there any plans for an event in or near Chicago and/or southern Wisconsin? If not, I'd be interested in trying to put something together -- if there's enough interest.

Any replies appreciated.

NOTE: I am aware of the upcoming event in Detroit.

NEST, as we know it, is only held in Philadelphia. There is CHEST in Chicago but I don't know if they have an event scheduled soon. You may want to check and/or post in that section about getting a group together.

Hey...go for it. Mimi says she is planning something in Wisconsin for the fall, but I'd certainly be up for something before then. (I'm planning on going to Motown, but an extra party in my "backyard" would be swell, too...)
