I would have to say that my favorite CD would either be "Toxicity", which is the latest from System Of A Down......or "Parachutes" by Coldplay......Kinda a toss-up!

Anything by Type O Negative, but if I was forced to choose, I'd have to pick "The Conception of Feces" (the live album). It's a faked live concert. During the whole thing, the audience is screaming "You Suck! Your Suck!" Then in the middle of the disc, they have a bomb threat. At the end of the disc is thier cover of "Paranoid". In true Type O fashion, they took a 2:30 song and stetched it out to over 5 minutes.

BTW: "Toxicity" is a really cool record. Did you get the second disc with the movie on it Krokus?

Today? Geez, my favorite CD is a "du jour" type of thing. I figure that's why there are disc-changers for cars. Currently, it's a Tom Waits compilation, the last Morphine album, Radiohead's OK Computer, or one of the three Dave Matthews Band. Used to be a Stone Temple Pilot's album, Pearl Jam, or Filter.

Musicians have funny taste in music, I guess.

Now this is a pickle...I really can't decide between "50 Don Ho Fans Can't Be Wrong: Don Ho's Greatest Hits, Vol. 2" and "Don Ho: A Legendary Performer (Vol. 2: The Psychedelic Years)." It was so much easier when we were naming a whole top ten! :)

Since posting just one would be hard...I'll post my fav top 5.

1. Incubus SCIENCE
2. Sublime (Self-titled)
3. Nirvana: In Utero
4. Tool: Undertow
5. Boyhitscar (Self-titled)
6. Linkin Park: Hybrid Theory

I know I said top 5, but I couldn't leave out Linkin Park. Despite many people's opinion of them as an "MTV band," it is one of the few cds in my collection that I can just turn it on and let it play without having to skip around. It is a great cd. Oh, and for the record, I think System of a Down's first cd is much better than the new one.:)

I guess I have to give props to some of my favorites here.

Beastie Boys, Tori Amos, Pink Floyd, NIN, radiohead, the cure, and a lot of indie rock stuff that probably nobody has ever heard of.

there are just too many more to even go there..... but the best things to come out in the last year or so is probably linkin park (such a catchy album) and the Sigur Ros album. also tools and moby have good stuff out fairly recently.

also, for all you crazy goth/punk/emo/techno kids out there...

get an album by the Golden Palominos called "Dead Inside" it is good stuff. kinda dark, but good stuff.

My Favorite Cd would have to be Savage Streets. The music is from the movie Savage Streets starring Linda blair back in the 80's. The music is awesome and the movie is awesome also.

the best Cd in the world to set the mood is By a band called Bowery Electric, and the disk is call Lushlife....it is a bit like a cross between enya and enigma, but a little more beat oriented... very yummy stuff... mellow but a good groove... trust me
