I know this is more of a rant. I would LOVE :wub: to attend a gathering but it seems all are so far away. Living in Springfield Missouri I am just out of driving range it seems. I have even though about hosting one here but again since I am the only one from here then others would have to drive. Maybe I'm just stuck on the poor me thing. Well one day I hope to attend and test all my tickling techniques (ok well maybe not all :p ) on some lee's. Till then I will keep looking for the closest one and when possible ask for an invite. There's a simple solution. Host an event yourself. Otherwise, save up to visit an event in Texas, or Pennsylvania, or California, or one of the midwest events (Ohio, Chicago, or Wisconsin).

There WAS a Southern Gathering in Memphis, TN, back a while ago. Was a great event, too. That one's no longer present. It could use a replacement. Maybe someone out there will take it on.

I am in SW OHIO, I think you are about 8 hours from here in Missouri, it is a bit of a jaunt, but there are airports in dayton, cincy and columbus you could ffly into if they have one here again...

I'm in S.W. Missouri, Springfield area. It's like a 4 hour drive just to St. Louis for me. But will keep my eye out. I do have vacation Aug 28 - Sep 3. So you never know :veryhappy
