why can't i do anything but download clips for tickle theater? It won't let me post replies or do polls or anything. On the bottom of the screne it says "Forum Rules" or something like that and then under it it says "You may not post replies" "You may not join in on poles" and all this other stuff like I don't have an ID...but I do and I should be able to do all that stuff, I'm registered and all that, but I can't do anything but download clips. Does anyone know why?

If you PM HisDivineShadow here at the TMF, he will be able to help you. He is a good member here and a moderator at tickletheater and can usually come up with the answers...

How long have you been registered and how many posts do you have? There is a ruling there that you have to have a minimum of ten (10) posts in order to do things like PM someone, take part in polls, and a number of other things. This, supposedly, helps keep spammers off the forum. Have a look under the heading Site Feedback to see some of what has been written about this matter.

Make sure your registration has been activated. When I first joined TT, the activation e-mail they sent me arrived my spam folder and I never found it. I spent months in limbo (same as you), able to see the pictures and download clips but unable to start threads or reply to them. What I finally did was to alter my e-mail address in my User's Profile. I changed the upper-case letters into lower case letters. This doesn't invalidate the e-mail address, but once you save the changes TT will send a confirmation letter. Check for it in your spam folder, open it, and activate your account. You should be able to post after that (that's how it worked out for me, at least). Hope this works for you.

Try putting your security settings down to medium.

Gah, why did I not see this!? *Beats self senseless which, sadly, didn't take too long.* I'm glad you were able to solve the issue, that I am. I'll be keeping a closer eye on this section for future problems...
