The Good Guys embarked on their next road trip to California, going 4-4 on an eight game trip. They returned home to the Bahamas to begin a nine game homestand. First, the Mets would be in town, and then, in the homestand's second series, the Atlanta Braves would visit Paradise. The most signifcant part of the Braves visit to Paradise was the expected pitching matchup in the Saturday night contest of the series. Mandy Moore, who was now the first female pitcher on any major league team except for the Good Guys, would be opposing Naomi Watts as the starting pitchers. It was bound to be emotional, and fun.
The Paradise Islanders started by winning two of three from the Mets, and then losing the opening game of the Braves series. Then, the day of the big event came, with the Good Guys and Braves game that evening being started by none other than Mandy Moore and Naomi Watts. Of course, having played together for over 10 years on the Good Guys, and having been bullpen closing buddies, and best friends, there was an intense personal and competetive history between both. Naomi tried to downplay the confrontation, saying she was going to treat it like any other game. However, a sellout crowd jammed Good Guy Stadium that evening, and the atmospehere was like a playoff game, even though it was only July. Each pitch brought a roar, and a scream from the crowd. The two pitchers squared off in an amazing duel, both pitching eight innings, and allowing but one run each. In the ninth, Mitch came up, and, against the Atlanta bullpen ace, hit a long homerun to give the Good Guys a dramatic 2-1 victory. After the game, and the media statements, Mandy joined her former teammates of the Good Guys for drinks and dinner. These were still her best friends off the field, and pitching against them for the very first time, in a ballpark where she had won many World Series, and against her best friend, was very emotional for the right hander. A more subdued game was played on Sunday, with yet another Good Guy win. Following this, Paradise won two of three from Houston, before packing their bags to make return visits to the same cities on their next road trip.
In the meantime, the team held it's Saturday night tickle party. Usually, opposing teams visiting Paradise would go about their business, and not engage in activities at the fetish club. Not the Braves on this trip. Many of the members of the Braves accompanied Mandy Moore to the club for the purpose of seeing the only female pitcher in the big leagues except for the Good Guys tickled. Mandy disrobed to a bra, and panties, and was tied hands and feet to a table in the middle of the fetish club. Mitch came over, and started the proceedings: "She might be with the enemy now, but we'll always love her for the years of service she gave us, and since we havent tickled her in a long time, and she is sooo ticklish, we figure with facing Naomi tonight, it would be a good time" With that, Mitch attacked Mandy's neck as she thrashed and the giggles began: Heheheheheehehehe! NO! Then, pitcher John Smoltz moved in, attacking his teammate on her armpits and down her sides as she bucked at her restraints: HEHEHEHEHEHEEHEHE! NO JOHN NO! HEHEHEHEHE! Moving down, the second baseman Russell, tickled Mandy's inner thighs, causing her to buck. Finally, Naomi, with a big grin on her face, came over:" Hi, best friend, you are all tied up, and all mine, you little ticklish girl you!" "Hey, this isnt fair, you're a girl you're supposed to be on my side, as you've been in this position many times yourself!" Mandy implored. "Tough, you are tied, and now you are going to get it!" Naomi said with a grin. Then, Naomi attacked Mandy's most ticklish spot, her bare feet, with her fingers, then a feather, and finally, a vibrating electric massager. Mandy went beserk! She moved her toes every which way and filled the room with squealing laughter, begging for mercy: HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! NO NAOMI! CANT TAKE IT! PLEASE NO MORE NO! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEEHEHEHEHEHE! Finally, the exhausted and sweaty Mandy was untied, and the party continued.
