i was talking to some lifestyle friends about my reaction to tickle torture. i tend to become very verbal and a smartass, but it is a defense and i am really not in control of it. i likened it to having Tourette's Syndrome and just thought of a clever acronym.

No dear, it was a poor attempt at a joke. We have two gentlemen on my job who have toruettes. Also one of the guys at my son's group home has it too. I have way too much experience with the disorder.

i have been called a SAM for that behavior, but a SAM does it on purpose. i really feel i have no control over it.
