Hi again, all. The much is still Fri. Sept. 23 at 7:00 p.m. at a Manhattan location within easy walking distance from both the Port Authority and Penn Station. The reason I removed the specifics from that other thread was that I found out I was attracting search engines here: I ran a search on that restaurant and the third thing that came up was our cozy little message board. Actually, that hasn't changed despite my edits, but I'm guessing no harm's done. That restaurant is still a great place to have it. Anyway, please PM me or E-mail me at workinprogress62@yahoo.com if you don't know where to come, and please reconfirm with me closer to the time.

How did this go? I was curious to check it out myself but was nervous, never having checked out any kind of "fetish" event before. I realize it was just dinner and drinks in public, but still, I've never really "outed" myself to anyone in person and I guess I was afraid to do it among strangers, even ones who are also "out".

It was a small, friendly turnout. No women, unfortunately. And this kind of get-together is totally safe, because you can share as much or as little about your fetish life as you want. A lot of the conversation was about privacy and pornography laws.

It wasn't bad, but everyone was too repressed. People needed to relax... maybe a few shots would've helped.

There’s only one?! And she didn’t show up?! Crap… and guess that she must be me!

The women of this community show up for plenty! And it’s the people like WorkInProgress they show up for. The folks who care more about meeting the PEOPLE of this community than they do about whether or not a purdy ticklish goyl is there.

Yeah, I hear ya, Ayla. Some of the men make the rest of us look pretty bad. Fortunately, this guy's gotta hide his handle, now. Then again, maybe he doesn't know that women on this forum tend to talk to one another.

WorkInProgress doesn't have much trouble actually getting people out, so no worries there.

I'm just wondering if TICKLESRWAY2FUN realizes that he's gotta pull that post to avoid having the rest of the women in this area spot the entirely repulsive 'tude. I know I don't gotta tell you how poorly women take such negativity. He'd have to ask me to edit his name from my reply, too. Then again, maybe he's tough enough to just take it like a man, and see if someone still wants to deal with that 'tude anyway. Women ARE very forgiving, generally speaking.

Not true...I've been to one of these munches and they are lots of fun. I was set to go to this one (as Work In Progress knew) but a business trip out of town was extended and I didn't fly back until the night of the munch. Life happens and I hope to make it next time.
