Saw on cnn a few days ago where a man was fired for eating two pieces of pizza that were left after a meeting. It seemed some coworkers wanted to take home some pizza and when they found two pieces missing, they told management and the worker who ate the two pieces was fired. He won a contest for that and if you want to see more, go to cnn and type in "fired" and you'll see other good stories about people getting canned for funny reasons.

LOL... Lemme guess... This guy probably pissed off somebody in his company about something important, and when he ate the remaining pizza, that was the last straw.

I knew a guy who got canned while I was working at Six Flags Great Adventure. You see, he had this problem. Every time he had extensive conversations with any girl, about anything, he would run into the head for a good fifteen minutes or more. Eventually, one of the guys went in there, and heard strange noises coming from a stall, and as you can figure, among teens, this kind of thing gets around. Management figured he was not working, so they let him go.

I figure this was an amusing reason :wavingguy

Ah... it sounds like he was quite a jerk off. He just couldn't handle himself. too much playing around...

He wasn't a bad kid, really.
He was Corsican. As a result, everyone knew him as Monsieur Eruption. I'm hoping that he went to therapy to correct this problem. Behavior like this is sort of...counterproductive.

Back when I was employed I had a close call with snack food. One day at work there was a handwritten sign on our microwave at work saying "please do not make microwave popcorn!!" I figured it was one of my co-workers being a wise-ass, so of course I immediately nuked a bag of popcorn. Turns out the sign was written by the useless and evil human resources director. I was quickly summoned to her office, we had a little "discussion" about it and I almost shitcanned on the spot. This was about 10 years ago and my former co-workers still razz me about it.

My father pressured me into getting a terrible summer job in a bar one year. I was working with THE most horrible woman in the world. Her husband was not much better.

One day i'd had enough, so I called the woman "A ridulous old bitch", told her that she could "stick her job up her arse" and took my leave.

I thought that was pretty funny. Especially since this woman has a very hard reputation as someone who you DO NOT cross under any circumstances. To see the look on her face was awesome!

I was fired for "stealing" crackers and peanut butter from the cafeteria at the local nuclear power plant- after I had asked how much they were and the cashiers told me it was okay. The lady that ran the cafeteria pitched a fit and told me to put them back, which I did. Then she had her employees sign a statement that I had been "Stealing" them and refusing to pay for them. The company that I was working for (they were contracted) were all too eager to get rid of the employees with seniority (how dare we take too much money out of their pockets!), and... well, you can guess the rest. :disgust:
But I kind of got vindicated. They refused to give me unemployment at first because I was fired, but I had a telephone hearing and they found in my favor. The company had to hand over a nice big backpay check- $1400.00.
