Ok, I saw ShopGirl starring Steve Martin & Claire Danes.
As soon as the opening credits finish (Directed By . .)
Claire Danes is standing behind a small counter as a cashier at Saks in Los Angeles. The camera is then behind her & at her feet. She removes her left shoe & flexes her BARE SOLE right in the camera.
I knew that this was going to be a good movie.
There are at LEAST 6 different foot scenes with her throughout the movie. 4 or 5 are SOLE shots.
A couple of the shots are right at the edge of the bottom & the right side of the screen so when the DVD comes out, it might be best to buy the Wide Screen version.
Just as side note: Steve Martin (yes, THAT Steve Martin) wrote the screenplay based on HIS novella. Is it possble that Mr Martin MIGHT have a thing for bare soles? Hmmm.
