The Good Guys embarked on their next road trip to New York, Atlanta, and Houston. After sweeping three games in New York, they lost two of three in both Atlanta and Houston, to still finish with a winning road trip. They returned home on a Sunday night, to begin a nine game homestand with the Mid America teams.

The Cubs came to town on Friday night. Neve Campbell twirled a good game, striking out nine into the seventh, as the Good Guys prevailed, 8-5. The fifth starter kept the team in the game on Saturday, but the Good Guys couldnt overcome, and lost, 4-2. Kate Hudson went to the mound on a sunny Sunday before a sellout. Righting herself for her loss earlier in the week, and getting some runs, she fired a five hitter, shutting out Chicago, and striking out fourteen, in a 5-0 win.
St Louis came to town on Monday night, and it was a difficult series for the Good Guys. Gil Bellows got bashed on Monday, losing 5-1, and then, Charlize didnt fare any better on Tuesday, also getting hit hard, and losing 6-2. Neve Campbell would need to have a good game on Wednesday afternoon to avoid the sweep. She kept the team in the game, leaving after eight innings with the score tied 3-3. Finally, in the tenth, Mitch put an end to the difficult homestand, by crashing a solo homer, in a 4-3 Good Guy win that finished off a rough but winning five and four homestand. The team wasnt at it's sharpest, but had survived, and now a tough road trip loomed.
