Sounds like a good idea, hopefully that will make other scandinavians than me de-lurk :)

I agree. There should be a scandinavian sub-forum, where I can demonstrate my great grasp of the Norwegian language.

yes, i am truly very proficient in Norwegian. Although, fcuk me its an expensive place to be! 100Kr (£8 or $14) for a cocktail everywhere in Norway.
But what a beautiful country, and what truly beautiful women!

Actually, everyone in Scandinavia (below a certain age) speaks English anyway, so is there really a need for a scandinavian sub-section?
But the scandinavian subforum would be a nice place to discuss Ikea, A-ha, Royksopp, Abba, Bjork (ok, Iceland so Iceland isn't in Scandinavia, so we'll called it the Nordic subsection), Marit Larson, H&M and Peter Schmiechel.

I don't care if we speak English in the Scandinavian Forum from time to time ... but the nice thing would be to know you are talking to somone in your own timezone and not so far away you have no chance of ever meeting them unles you are a millionaire......

Ok, you guys have shown that a Scandinavian forum could have enough users.
So you have one now.
Question. What flags shall I place there.
Norway, Sweeden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland?

:bowing: Thank Ye ....
The Scandinavian language is understood best by the people in:
Denmark;
Norway &
Sweden
The Icelandic people speak a bit different
But the Finnish people speak an entirely different language that has no "family" to the ones spoken in Denmark; Norway & Sweden.
My suggestion is, that the flags you choose would be:
Denmark; Norway and Sweden
Even though Finland is geographically really close, their language is far apart.
thank ye :bowing:

OK, when I get a chance I'll add in the three flags of the nations you point out. It may take me a little bit to get around to it.
