Having only been tickled by women, I would have to go with the ladies above me.

However, I think the true good ticklers are the ones who like to tickle and know what works and what doesn't. I don't think its a gender issue; but more of a passion issue. If someone loves to tickle, then they ideally will be good at it. It probably doesn't always hold true, but its my thoughts on the issue.

This will probably be a reprise of the thread on whether men or women are the best ticklers. I'll have to say the same thing here that I said there:

I think that, due to socialization, it's harder for men to explore sadism in any way. Tickling is usually easier (for both men and women) than other forms of BDSM that involve actual pain, bruising, etc., but in my experience women still have an easier time accessing their inner sadist than men do, all other things being equal.

Now, that said, it must be noted that all other things are very seldom equal. A man with more experience may well be able to "go there" more effectively than an inexperienced woman. A man who has dealt with his inner demons regarding sadism may be much more evil than a woman who has not addressed her (smaller, but still real) inhibitions.

Speaking for myself, I think I'm about as sadistic as any woman out there, though manifestations may vary (for example, there are women who like aspects of SM that I don't care for, and vice versa). But that's just me talking. Really, you'd need to ask someone who has been tickled by both me and other 'lers, both male and female.

So, on the whole, I'd give the nod to women. But there are a lot of factors that might change that in any particular person.

I think that this is a split deison, I think that sadism in of itself is not gender specific, although i would have to give the evloutionary nod to men for being the hunters and having the greatest number of SK, (hey psychoogically we are not that different), but physically speaking i think that women could be considered the best ticklers because theyy are more in tune with nonverbal communication and the fact that they are naturally gifted with long nails generally, so it all really depends on the way that you look at it.

Seriously, everyone is different and into different things. It takes a long time to get to know your lee properly before you can be as sadistic as you really want to be. There are bound to be good and not so good male lers as well good and not so good female lers. It also depends on what the lee and ler want and how well you know each other before you can call them good or bad. I could tickle two male lees right now and one might say I was a very good ler and the other might say I was a useless ler. I do think women like to get revenge on people more than men though, so that could count towards women being more sadistic.

It's a male sexual fantasy that women be sadistic ticklers. The fact is that men are by far more sadistic in nature than women.

The elements that comprise the attributes to which some of you refer - less physical inhibitions, more closely regarded social interactions with other women, etc., have little to do with sadism, but rather have to do with intuitiveness, empathy, and a sense of mischievous playfulness.

Women only seem more sadistic because they tend to tease and taunt when they tickle. Their tendency to display overt excitement and intimate involvement while tickling gives the impression of sensual sadism. It is, however, a matter of empathy through close emotional interaction with the lee.

However, I've seen several clips that I would characterize as sadistic, and ALL of them involved male ticklers. Tickling past the point of tolerance; tickling despite discomfort, exhaustion, obvious frustration, and even panic - THAT is sadistic. I am yet to see a woman do those things to another.

Were you at NEST '02 when QBWeaver was tickling Ed (Not TTD...the other Ed) on the X-shaped cross? I was watching her face as she was tickling him. It was pure evil. Made me envious of Ed's position. ;) That was back when he had short hair. Last year, Shygirl was torturing him pretty regularly on the very same X-shaped cross. Some guys have all the luck. :D
