Just wondering if anyone else on the forum has suffered injuries due to sport or accidents. I know a strange topic but am wondering how people got through it and such.
Like myself I aggravated my knee yesterday which I had to have reconstructed two years ago - which killed any chance of playing representative football (soccer) for Germany or even Australia. I tore all ligaments last time due to a dirty tackle and yesterday it seems I may have damaged only one but I have to go back to my specialist who operated before to make sure.
It was a great way to celebrate my birthday, well it was the day after but still and I'm sort of depressed about it.

I've got bad knees myself; combination of genetics and four years of wrestling. While I haven't had surgery, I think it's an eventuality. That's about as serious as it gets for me.

I think this picture of my left index finger says it all. For those who were at the November 2005 West Coast Gathering you will remember the finger in a splint. It looks mosty normal now, I have a very good doctor looking out for me.

I tore the lateral miniscus in my left years ago playing hockey. I still feel the effects of it today.

Yeah~I barely survived a vicious rollover about 6 years ago and was trapped in my car upside down on my head. I needed stitches in my knee, physical therapy...One week later, I had to be in Hawaii for my favorite cousin's wedding. Flying in stitches was hell~the witch in front of me who insisted on pushing her seat back against my knee almost got the shit beat out of her. And hobbling around on vacay on crutches for a week was hell.
A year ago, I fell thru a mirror in the dark and needed stitches in my elbow just before Halloween~still bothers me to this day... :sowrong:
XOXO
