You tube Dissapointment

Sorry I have always been a lurker for years, however i feel strongly enough about this to post. You tube was the only place to go on the internet that was REAL tickling, real people, real situations, it was adorable. Now it is full of the same clips as everywhere. Not every web site has to contain the exact same material and use it for advertising. If your into tickling then we all know about here and all the main other pages. However I honestly think this will reck youtube, What people are going to want to post there innocent hilarious tickle videos with there friends when there is nothing but smut on there. Dont get me wrong I love the smut, but how will the innocent "posters" feel about there video amongst "ticklish cowboy ryan" or so and so audtions. Keep Youtube clean and funny, keep the rest of the stuff we enjoy right here where we like it! I want NEW stuff not the same old same old. I am very dissapointed right now. Whheww thanks for letting me vent.

I fully agree with you!

We have lots of places to share great tickling stuff, like here, TickleTheater, etc. For as long as I am participating in this great community it has always be difficult to obtain real-life tickling clips. I was so glad to see places like youtube finally come up with these clips! We should charize that!

I too am afraid that the tickling stuff with bondage etc. will scare away the innocent trespassers (who are often no caught by tickling like we are) with their home-made stuff.

So I call upon each of us to stop sharing tickling clips on youtube and similar places (we all love it when you post them here!) and for those who have posted them: please remove them and give way again to those innocent people who are not aware of the fact that they are making our day!

is because there are certain production companies (without naming names) who insist on stoping us from trading/posting thier clips via these forums.

Its actually quite strange because its that kind of underground publicity that helps video sales, I dunno maybe they think ther're losing money when people post their clips or something (youd have to ask them that).

Anyway, seen as we are not allowed to post here the tickling community needs somewhere else to do this, a public place where people are free to post whatever they wish, without fear of persuction from moderators [no offence guys! its your jobs ;-) ] This place is you tube.

Besides if someone really wanted to post something i think they would regardless of whether they thought people would appreciate it. The guys who post clips on places like you tube probably belong to forums such as this one.

Have you ever seen a really good clip on here or tickle theater for example only to see it removed before you could download it. Well that could never happen in a place like you tube because its a public gallery. You tube can be for everything theres enough space anyway and people will post what theres a demand for. That dosent mean to say people wont post their candids anymore.

I agree with you about youtube...It's being ruined as we speak and I don't think there's much that can be done about it. Too bad, it was so much fun just a few weeks ago and now you have to wade through all the usual produced stuff we've seen everywhere else.

Has it occured to you that maybe it's not the producers that are posting their clips on You Tube? I noticed that one of my own clips has been posted there, and it's certainly not my doing. I don't mind it, since it's one of my free preview clips, and not one of my commercial ones. But what I'm saying is that I didn't post it there myself as a form of publicity. It's just someone who had downloaded it and thought other people might like to see it there. I get the feeling that there aren't that many producers who post their own clips on You Tube.

Very true. While I don't post my free preview clips on You Tube myself, I don't really mind of someone else does it, since preview clips are basically meant to be distributed. But posting pay clips, that's a big problem, and quite illegal. It's perfectly normal for producer not to want such clips posted publicly.

As for preview clips cluttering You Tube, like some people are worrying about in this thread, well, I suppose I agree that it's a problem, even if I don't mind my previews being distributed. But most producers probably aren't responsible for their clips being posted there.

I can see both sides of this issue.
Posting the same stuff we can get off of TMF and TT on youtube is kind of redundant. But then again it opens them to a whole new market, after all Im sure there are tens of thousands of people that are into tickling and dont know or ever heard of the TMF. youtube is great for the distrubtion of previews and such without the "fear" of someone joining a Fetish board.
On the other hand there may be some people who innocently post tickling videos that might think twice about it...but they will just post them elsewhere, after all we have people dedicated on this board to looking all over the net for these "web gems".
Now I know some concerns will come from Producers afraid the compyrighted material they create and sell will now be available for free on youtube or any other spin off like it. This is a real concern but something they will deal with, although I dont think any of them will come out and sue someone in the open because of personal legal issues with their own company and not wanting their side business, name, picture and such posted all over the newspapers and the 6 oclock news.
But let me say that youtube is not the best or easiest or most accessable way to download for free copyrighted material. IMesh alone has THOUSANDS of full-length tickling videos from all compaines including The Last Laugh, Paradise Vision, Foottime, Hang Ten, Ticklehorror, insex, Magic Touch, and pretty much everyone that produces has material I have seen available for download on IMesh.
I dont know excatly what to say or do, but eventually everything in the world at one point will become public domain, so unfortunately I guess the name of the game is too make as much off of something for as long as you can.
Now Im not advocating such behavior, I can only state what I see.
But if people/producers want to post on youtube, I really dont see a huge problem. But I can agree there might be a ripple felt in places.

I posted two videos via YouTube that generated a little more than 20,000 views in two days..




I removed them both since it dawned on me that a large portion of YouTube's members are probably under the age of consent. These two videos were playful and pointed to a non-nude website, but still required users to be at least 18.

Whoever posted a bondage video on a public website with thousands of minors should probably face a firing sqad.

everybody is making good and valid points, but the way i see this is that youtube is like napster in a way and it looks like the same thing is happening with some companies feeling like they are being robbed in a sence

I don't really understand how this issue generates complaints. I say the more tickling content the better, a lot of clips on there that are from tickling companies themselves I have never even seen. It's not like the candid real-life stuff is going to disappear....

If people post clips from pay sites, the producers need only complain to you tube...

Then the site is liable to ban all such stuff to avoid trouble...

I boycott youtube because it's flash only; I only have one installation where I could run the flashplugin anyways (without jumping thru hoops). It's a disgrace, how some proprietary, unportable "technology" seems to take over the web, perverting the very basics of the WWW (open standards, system- and software independence, etc.) and most people are just ignorant of it.
