Great idea!! There have been a lot of sport disscucsions in the GD I didn't feel it was crowding or interfering, but giving it it's own forum makes sense! BRAVO guys!!!!!



Is it possible to move some of the sports related threads in GD to the new forum?????

I'm glad you all are enjoying it. It was certainly a very good idea, and appears it will not only be a great addition, but put to very good use as well.

I've moved all of the most recent sport discussions from the General Discussion forum over to the new sports forum. Feel free to enjoy and continue them there.

Id had the idea for awhile, and finally decided to bring it up in the suggestion forum...and it seemed I had a lot more support for such an idea than I had thought.
We all will use it well and again to everyone...thanks!

I wholeheartedly agree. Being the baseball freak I am, I was strongly in favor of having a sports forum, and I am thankful that the mods decided to act upon the suggestion.

Well Im not wholly responsible....I was the one who suggested it in the Suggestion forum to Jeff, but he is the one who discussed it with the other MODS and then a few other TMF members voiced their support and everyone togeather made it happen.
Now as long as we all use the Sports Forum and make it worth the time to have it then it will all be good.

But you can shake my hand all the same....just catch it :wavingguy
