The Good Guys embarked on what turned out to be a rough road trip to the center of the country. After sweeping a three game series in Pittsburgh, they proceeded to get swept in Chicago, and then dropped two of three in St Louis. They returned home on a Sunday night, to begin their next homestand, against the West Coast teams.
While on the road trip, Mitch called Naomi, every night, as he always did, and the couple tried to work through their problems. On that Sunday night, when he returned home, Naomi calmly stood in front of him, as he entered the apartment. "What do I do now?" Mitch asked. "If you don't know that by now, you silly putz, you will never learn, but since I want this evening to be pleasurable for both of us, shut up and kiss me!" She commanded. Kate Hudson pitched very well that night, striking out nine, and allowing but one run, as Mitch hit a seventh inning homer, to break a tie, and give the Good Guys a 4-1 win. Gil Bellows pitched on Tuesday night, it was a bit warmer, and slightly wet, with occasional showers. The weather didn't dampen the team's spirits, as Bellows pitched six fine innings, combining with three relievers, on a 5-3 triumph. Charlize Theron took the hill on Wednesday night. She gave a credible effort, striking out eight, but the Good Guys didn't get any runs, and committed an error, to drop a 2-1 decision.
Thursday was an off day. After an early morning counseling session, and lunch with the team at the casino, Mitch and Naomi had a very needed session of afternoon delight, as they worked at repairing the problems in their marriage.
San Diego came to town on Friday night. Things didnt go well, as Neve Campbell got bashed, being hit for nine runs, in four innings, of an eventual 9-5 loss. The fifth starter needed to come up big on Saturday night, and did, as he allowed but two runs in seven innings, and the Good Guys scored six, in a 6-2 triumph. Kate Hudson took the mound on a bright, sunny Sunday in front of a sellout. She was magnificent, striking out sixteen, and allowing but three hits. Duff came on to get the last out, as Kate got into a bit of trouble in the ninth, to finish off a 3-0 victory.
The Dodgers entered Paradise for the final series of the homestand before the Good Guys embarked on a trip to the West Coast. Gil Bellows started things on Monday night. He allowed but two runs in seven innings, but two errors sunk the Good Guys ship that night, 3-2. Charlize Theron pitched on Tuesday night. She struck out eleven, and kept the team in the game, until Mitch could win it with a 9th inning homer, 2-1. Neve Campbell took the mound on a beautiful Wednesday in front of a sellout, before the Good Guys headed to the West Coast for ten days. She was fantastic, fanning a dozen in seven innings. The Good Guys, down 3-0 into the sixth, tied it in the sixth, then went ahead for good, with two runs in the eighth, to come away with a 5-3 triumph that finished off a six and three homestand. Things seemed to be going smoothly on and off the field, for both Mitch and Naomi, and the team.
In the meantime, the team held it's Saturday night tickle party. The featured lee would be a mega hot model from the successful new game show "Deal Or No Deal". As a bonus, instead of being tickled by one of the Good Guys, she would be tickled by the show's host, Howie Mandel. The model, named Janelle, was tied hands and feet to the bed in the middle of the fetish club, with the entire Good Guy team chanting Howie on. The two men attacked Janelle's bare soles at the same time, and then proceeded to use feathers given to them by the Good Guy team, ice, and two electric toothbrushes on the poor helpless model's soles and toes. She went ballistic, wiggling her toes every which way, squealing with laughter, and begging for mercy!: HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEEHEHE! OMG PLEASE NOT TWO OF YOU! I CANT STAND IT!
