Well all, its been a great weekend! I was able to attend to the UConn and George Mason game yesterday!! WHAT A BLAST!
I had a great lecture in Virgina on Saturday and had dinner with a REALLY CUTE woman that had attended my lecture.
After all the crap that had been going on lately (here in the forum with all the lying, backstabbing, ignoring, mindgames and sheer creepyness) online and in my own life (ex-wife being a well you know) and I was having some pre-spring blahs myself...but after this weekend I feel much much better and had a great great time! A weekend away from the hum-drums of my normal and online life... a weekend in DC without any reminder of anything but having a good time did me somegood.
I think taking a break every once in a while is a good thing. I know I feel recharged.
Im feeling good today! I had a great weekend! So, everyone else...talk about it!
Good to be back...and those who sent me emails and PM's with well wishes as well as a few "offers" :) Ill be getting back to you! :cool2:

We mustn't mention that game as I was sitting at the table about to start dinner when Uconn threw the final shot in regulation...

I twisted in the chair to see them tie it and send it into OT...

The chair toppled and I hit the floor full force popping my shoulder and almost passing out....Needless to say I was quite pissed on my way to the hospital as they lost the game....totally outplayed and outclassed....

I can now refer to this as my "basketball" injury which will amuse a lot of people as I am only 5'4"....lol

I have a very bruised and banged up left arm right now with very limited motion, but my ego was more bruised than the arm was......

'Twas a long night......

We were supposed to go away this weekend and had to cancel at the last minute....then it just got worse...Could really use that time away 'bout now...

Well I can't say there is much to do around here on the weekends but it relaxing and quiet. Plus my apartment is build like the bat cave with all my electronic gadgets to keep me entertained.

I hung out with Sadira and went to church on Sunday and watched the basketball games all weekend. It was a pretty good weekend. Anytime I hang out with Sadira it is a good time.

Ray, I am really sorry you hurt yourself. Sounds VERY painful!!! I hope you get to feeling better soon. Take care Ray :bowing:
