The Good Guys embarked on a trip to the middle of the country. They swept three games in Pittsburgh, before dropping two of three in both Chicago and St Louis. They returned home on a Sunday night, to begin a nine game West Coast homestand.

After Naomi and Amanda Bynes pitched a scoreless eighth, the Good Guys struck in the bottom half, with third baseman Michael crushing a long homer. Hilary Duff went to the mound, to try and save the game, in the ninth, with the team leading 3-2. She got two outs, and had two strikes on the last batter, when she gave up a game tying homerun! In the bottom half, tied, 3-3, Mitch came up, and hit a mammoth solo homer, to send the nearly sellout crowd home happy, with a 4-3 Paradise win, that salavaged a five and four homestand. It had been a less than fun ride, with Kate's performances, but the team boarded the plane to the West Coast, at least feeling relieved that they had come away with a winning record on the homestand.
