Im not much of a NASCAR person but I do pay attention to the major happenings in all sports..including NASCAR. Now Ive noticed a trend lately that all the Busch series races this season so far have been won by Nextel Series drivers. Im wondering if this bothers anyone that is a true racing fan.
To me I see it as if Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, VJ Singh all also competed in the lower events and won the payouts from those. In both cases I dont think they should. They are taking money and face-time from the other drivers. I personally think the "Big Boys" should just race on their circut. But perhaps the only way to remedy it would be the week Nextel is racing in North Carolina, the Busch series should race in California.
What do you NASCAR fans think.

It's a really complicated issue actually. Before Cup drivers started routinely appearing in Busch races, the Busch series was having some trouble attracting sponsors and live audiences. Some say, too, that the Busch drivers improve faster being able to compete against Cup drivers.

I think the Busch series needs the Cup drivers, but I think the Cup drivers shouldn't be allowed to accumulate points or money. It's making it really tough for the Busch guys to make a living when the big prize money goes to Cup drivers, for whom it's really small change anyway.
