Did you ever have one of those nights when you had lots of oppertunities but didn't take advantage of any of them?
Here was my night last night:
I'm sitting at my computer, minding my own business, when my wife's sister stops in for a visit following a night out with her husband. My wife was home and their mother was there too. My wife and her mother were in another room talking.
First thing my sister in law does is yell at my dog for licking her toes...three times. LOL. She was wearing backless strappy heels. She has long narrow feet that are very ticklish. She looks up at me and says why is your dog licking my toes?!?! My answer was obvious...her dog does the same thing. Later I realized I should have asked if she had lotion on them...that usually attracts the dogs.
So a few minutes later she is sitting behind me playing with my son. I turn from the computer screen to see she is laying on my wife's excercise ball. It is one of the oblong ones and she is on her belly with her sides exposed and bare skin poking out around the "love handle" area. Now I should mention here that she is DEATHLY ticklish on her sides, but I turned around and did nothing.
After that she wanted to see some pictures I was working on and kneeled down beside my desk chair. She rested her elbow on the desk and leaned in to see. She was wearing a sleeveless top. So her bare, very ticklish, armpit was now right next to my hand on the keyboard. And I did nothing.
Soon the whole family was around the computer and as we watched the pictures my sister in law made a couple comments that normally would have made me give her a few quick pokes just to watch her jump...and I did nothing.
Eventually everyone emptied out of the house and I realized I had not tickled her when I had every oppertunity to...and I felt weird. Its not like me to miss oppertunities like that. I know she's ticklish, I know she doesn't mind being tickled, and yet I let it go. Maybe I was tired. Maybe I'm slipping?
Later I made a point of tickling my wife's feet before we went to bed just to make sure I still liked it...I do! :veryhappy
Anyway, just wanted to share. It probably doesn't mean anything but its good to get these things off your chest once in awhile!
