Pretty much we all have to work , so I was wondering what line of work are you in and what goes on in your eight hours . PS Thats a third of our lives everyday and can almost be like a second home or family .

I work full time (sometimes more) at a lovely place called Ace Hardware.
It really pretty much sucks. But it's money and it's a lot better than the Popcorn place I used to work at.
Hopefully, someday I'll be able to get paid for doing what I love the most, which is writing. I think it'd be pretty cool to be a music journalist and write for like Rolling Stone or some such magazine.
It seems they have the most creative control over what they write, as opposed to newspaper journalists.

Hey! No fair! I broke my leg and that's orthopedic and i didn't get one red cent from it! 'Course... i wouldn't want to break bones 8 hours a day...
I get paid to type words and draw pretty pictures while running with scissors and not playing well with others.

I was a meteorologist for decades before corporate nonsense eliminated my job and essentially my career. I went back to school and got a masters and am looking for work, but meanwhile I do some marine weather forecasting and planning work (grants, land use study etc.) when I can get it.

Im not exactly breaking bones.. I could get a baseball bat and go work for the mob if it were that simple.. Im actually breaking what goes into the bone, to make it safe and all... ;)

Work in retail/customer service part time, and go to school the rest of the time. I also find time to get really drunk while partying on the weekends.

As some you know, I'm a freelance horror writer. However, that doesn't always guarantee a steady paycheck, so I went to bartending school a few months ago and am presently looking for a bartending job. Job market here sucks, but what else can I do? Just gotta keep looking....
