Hey Capt., if you get time, please re-post Steed and Mrs. Peel in "A Grave and Ticklish Matter" (I think that was the title.) Best story on the old forum.
BTW, here are some alternate toon characters for your Great Brush Company Robbery story:
The blonde - Disney Sleepy Hollow, Katrina.
The Latina - El Dorado, the Mayan girl, but with some age on her. OK, she's not a Latina, but her umpty-great grandchildren will be Mexicans.
The boss - You're right, no other choice than a toon version of Oprah.
The office boy - L'il Abner.
The crooks - El Dorado, the two young grifters, plus Shaggy from Scooby-Doo.
The rent-a-cops - stock Disney characters, the tall gaunt one and the short, fat, jowly one.
