Now I lay me down to sleep...
In the football pool I dare to leap...
If my teams should win before I drown...
A smile shall replace my frown...

Okay, okay... I never said I was a poet.
Here's my picks... in the bold of course...
Jeez... I hope I do better this week than I did last week
Good luck to all my fellow players...
May the force be with you :atom:

Man, only one game away from tying with the leaders, but I'm back at .500 with a 27-27-1 overall record. Now it's time to really make a move on the field and start going after the leaders and move up a few games above .500!

San Diego -5 @ Kansas City--- I like the Chargers here on the road against the Chiefs. This is a season I am sure Herman Edwards would like to forget. This game I see it being played close but the Chargers will cover and prevail.

Jacksonville -9 1/2 @ Houston---Conventional wisdom has to hold true for this game. Jacksonville is a really good team. But I am an instinctive as well. For some reason, I see a Jacksonville win but I don't see the cover. I will probably be wrong here but I am taking the points and Houston.

New England -5 @ Buffalo--- New England here because Buffalo just plain stinks. New England will probably win like 31-14 here. I see a big blowout here. New England in a romp.

Pittsburgh -2 1/2 @ Atlanta--- Can Atlanta afford to lose 2 straight home games??? Well the answer is no. Will they lose 2 consecutive home games??? I think so. I am taking the Steelers here.

Green Bay +4 1/2 @ Miami--- is Gren Bay really going to go on the road and beat Miami??? No, they won't. Will Miami cover 4 1/2??? No they won't. I am taking the Packers and the 4 1/2.

Philadelphia -5 @ Tampa Bay--- I can see Tampa Bay keeping this close. But I see Philadelphia win this by a TD. I will roll with Philadelphia.

Detroit +3 1/2 @ New York Jets--- The Jets will probably win this game. My problem with this game is the spread. If it were 2 or 2 1/2 the Jets are the easy choice. But 3 1/2 might be something that beats me. I will take that chance here and hope the Jets get a late TD to win this thing on points. I am taking the Jets and giving up the 3 1/2 and crossing my fingers.

Carolina +3 1/2 @ Cincinnati--- I have been on the Carolina bandwagon. Why jump off now??? I will take Carolina and the points.

Denver - 4 1/2 Cleveland--- I will take Denver here. Better team and I think they will give a better offensive performance than they gave a week ago when they burned me. Taking Denver.

Washington +9 @ Indianapolis--- Washington has a chance in this game early if they capitalize on any early mistakes. If they don't, the Colts will eat them up. I will go with the Redskins here.

Minnesota +6 1/2 @ Seattle--- I like Seattle at home here. They might be the best team at home right now. So I will stay with that and take Seattle and give up the points.

Arizona -3 @ Oakland--- I don't believe in Oakland. I don't like Oakland. So for that reason I will take Arizona to comeback from that Monday night disaster.

Monday Night Football

New York Giants +3 1/2 @ Dallas--- I like the Giants here. I really do. If there is a time that Dallas should maybe go to Roma it should be now. I think the Giants will beat up Bledsoe and the Giants will win this game outright.

And that is the picks in week #7 in the league where they play...for pay.
