For Ryan (a poem)

I wrote this in English class and it went over well, so I thought I'd post it here since it's about tickling.

You come in quietly
and listen to my breathing
as you walk toward me slowly.
I cannot see you.
my head can't cock that way,
so I listen with my head on the table
and sense only your presence.
"Hello, lovely," you say, resting your hands on my sides.
"Welcome back, love," I say in a nervous tone,
pulling my arms against knotted bonds in anticipation.
You say nothing this time, watching me clench my fists.
Your hands now form spiders on my ribs
and dig full force into the flesh that surrounds them.
My face contorts when these sensations hit my nerves.
I hold back the laughter,
but I know there's no use,
No Escape.
So a loud "Ha" belts from my lungs
to which several others consecutively follow.
I plead and beg with you,
"Stop please, I can't take anymore!"
but my expression says "Yes! Keep going! I can't get enough!"
You smile at my eyes
while planting tickles into my underarms.
My laughter turns to high squeals
then silent laughter
while I pull wildly at the ropes that hold my hands and feet.
Eventually, my lungs can't circulate the basement air
and laughter turns to wheezing and coughing.
You stop abruptly,
untie me,
and help me escape from my ticklish prison.
I throw my arms around you and lay
my head on your shoulder softly.
You close your eyes behind me
and listen as I say,
"Thank you, Master."
