Who is interested in a Chicagoland Gathering?

There has been some sporadic recent interest in a Chicagoland gathering. I organized the CHEST (CHicagoland Enthusiastic Society of Ticklephiles) gatherings in prior years. To be candid, the CHEST meetings tailed off recently because they ended up being the same group of a few guys, with them and others asking me “Will there be women there for me to tickle?” This eventually got to me because I am not a procurer and that is not what these kind of gatherings are all about.

It seems that there may be renewed interest in a Chi-town gathering. If there is enough interest, and sincere rather than prurient interest, I would be glad to put something together. If someone wants to help me organize it, so much the better - I would welcome the assistance and it would make a gathering more likely to happen.

Let me know your age; M or F; lee, ler or switch; and, importantly, let me know what type of event you would most like to attend. As for what type of event, in the past, we have had CHEST events consisting of a “munch” at a local restaurant, parties at a local BDSM club, and a party at a member’s house (since I cannot host a party at my place, if you want a party in a house, we need someone to volunteer their pad).

It would be great to start things up in Chicagoland. I look forward to hearing from all of you.

My apologies for the silence on the event. I was away on vacation and have been working with the venue to line up a date with enough lead time for everyone to register and align their schedules.

There has been a lot of interest expressed in this gathering - from m 'lers and 'lees, women and couples. It is shaping up to be a real rockin' evening.

Teezable - Amazonxxx dropped out of the scene several years ago - I think she hooked up with a boyfriend and I have not heard from her since. She was a great person, a good friend and one heckuva 'ler. We had a CHEST party at her house once, and what a party it was!

Goodieluver - as mentioned above, I will be sending out an announcement shortly with the date, location and registration details. I am not sure if you are on the mailing list, so be sure to send me an email so you receive the announcement. The minimum cost to register will be $25. IMHO that is not a huge amount, but I can understand if folks can't afford it. My hands are tied, so to speak, on this - the majority of people who expressed an interest in attending wanted to have it at a private club as opposed to a munch or other gathering at a restaurant, etc., and the club I am working with is the only one I know of with facilities to accommodate our group. The club has been very nice to work with. We have had a meeting there before, and the venue is good and not intimidating. I hope you can make it.

I am a sixty-one year old, white male, living in NW Indiana. Recently divorced after twenty-nine years, I have determined to pursue activities which have interested me, but for which participation was not an option. One of those is tickling. I have memories of being fascinated by bare feet and tickling from the age of five or six. To the extent memories that old are accurate, I would say that tickling is the single interest which has remained constant my entire life. If a Chicago area group exists, or is about to exist, I would greatly appreciate becoming involved to the degree I am able.
After thirty-five years, I retired from work three years ago. With the rather significant lifestyle change I am currently experiencing, returning to work was certainly appropriate. I generally work Mon - Fri, 4:00 pm - 2:30 am. I would welcome any information you can offer me on upcoming events, and I would be happy to assist with anything you need, within the constraints of my schedule and distance from Chicago (about one-hubdred miles).

The CHEST/CTA gathering is at the end of this month, and you can now register. A lot of interest has been expressed, by men, women and couples. Also from some people outside of our community - I've heard from women who are members of the club and are not into our community. They saw the announcement on the club website and are interested.

Well, it looks as if I won't be able to go after all. The FAQ page says you have to be 21 to become a member, and you have to be a member to attend the club. Since I won't be 21 until May, I'll have to sit this one out. Hopefully there are more CTA gatherings either after May or at other clubs.

Thanks for asking, Giggle, and, again, sorry you couldn’t be there.

In sum, it was a small turnout, but, IMHO, everyone had fun. There were 3-4 guys, and two women showed up who were club regulars. They are both into the BDSM scene, but also played with tickling, and both were curious about tickling. One was a 'ler/top and the other (mostly) a 'lee / bottom. We started out just chatting about tickling (the two women were very interested in our “community,” various details about tickling, etc.) Then, we started doing a show-and-tell with various tickle toys. The two women were curious about how well the toys worked so…. yours truly did a demo with the ‘lee. After that, the two women did a loooong scene with each other (the details are too much for a posting to a board). Then, the guys had their turn as the two women strung up each of them. Everyone took part in the evening, and I think a good time was had by all.

So, now, do we have another Chicagoland event? There was a lot of chatter on this board for a meeting, and I received a lot of emails from people who were interested. However, it was a small turnout. I know there was an issue with the venue having a minimum age of 21 and, of course, there are conflicts with any date, but why did people not show up? If we are to have another event, what should be done differently so that you would show up? PM me with your suggestions, feedback, etc.

I was there also and had a good time, even with the small turnout. The club itself was nice and well-maintained with lots of equipment. Everyone there was cool, and it was nice to have some of the club regulars there who were interested in tickling. I would definitely encourage more folks to come if there is another event there. I'm certainly up for it; it's a great venue for this sort of gathering. Anyway, thanks to TickleChgo for setting it up. Here's hoping that we can have another one there.
