It was a long time ago, an early color film, I think.
I don't remember tha title.
I tried to see it because I had been told it had tickling in it, but twice I was called away right after the opening scene to do other things.
The film opened with a distant view of a castle, then cut to a view of a room in that castle.
Over the fireplace was a portrait of a beautiful woman.
There were several men standing about, in either formal civilian clothes pr uniforms, looking at the painting.
One of them asked if anyone knew why the woman in the painting had her shoulders and bosom completely covered and her feet bare to mid calf, when the reverse was the usual practice at the time that picture was painted.
One of the other men stated that there was a long, interesting story behind that, and began to tell it, and the scene faded out to the beginning of the story, and both times I got called away at that point.
I can't recall the title (gettin' OLD!) and I never found it on the sir again.
Anyone know that movie? If I had the title I could at least try to find it.
