This is a song I wrote, arranged, sequenced, and recorded for your listening pleasure. This song is a good one to throw into your playlist, particularly if your friends are listening.

My friends have told me this song gets stuck in their head. It's got controversial lyrics, a fast rockin beat, a three tiered keyboard solo, and a ticklish interrogation as the outro.

Any comments, favorable, criticle, inflammatory, or whatever are welcome.

Note: This is a zipped file, as the forum doesn't permit upload of MP3 format. Simply download and unzip.

If you can't or won't unzip files, you can download this song in mp3 format at this free file hosting site, although some might find the advertisements there unsettling. http://up-file.com/download/e19b43712559/Tickle-Tackle.mp3.html

Hey thanks, man. It means a lot to me. I've played piano and keyboards since 1968, and guitar since 1974. I've composed several instrumental tunes over the last few decades, and I've also written several song parodies, where I write different lyrics to well known songs. This is the first song in which I wrote both lyrics and music completely from scratch.

Of course, when I say "lyrics" I'm referring to the sung verses and choruses, not the audio towards the end, which was borrowed from a couple of uncopy-righted clips I've found on the Internet over the years.

daddyHey Daddy! You know, what you suggest isn't entirely undoable. There are two places in the song where I've thought some lead guitar would be appropriate. The intro, the first eight measures before the vocals begin. The second spot would be where eight similar measures serve as the leadup to the instrumental break. If you can digitally record a guitar track, I can insert it in the master mix.

Drew,
WHAT THE HELL KIND OF SONG IS THIS?
Hahahaha Only kidding.
Hey, I really liked this song.
I will download it to my iPod Nano & listen to it at work.
Can you send me the lyrics to the song?
And . . What is the name of the video (or audio) of the spoken piece at the end?

Hey, I really liked this song.

Can you send me the lyrics to the song?
And . . What is the name of the video (or audio) of the spoken piece at the end?

The lyrics are as follows:

Times were cool back in Army School
I'm talking Nineteen Seventy-Seven!
I was stoned and drunk...a partying punk
Hanging out with that lunatic, Kevin.

We peeped in the back of the female shack
And it was fun up until we got caught.
They had us cold, so we decided to bolt.
Kevin got away, but I did not.

(Chorus)

They got me in a Tickle Tackle!
They all called dibs on my feet and my ribs
Cause it's a Tickle Tackle!
And I like a dummy said, "Don't tickle my tummy!"
But they tickle tackled!
They tickled so hard, I was emotionally scarred
From the Tickle Tackle!
They Tickle! They Tackle! I giggle and cackle, oh yeah!

Later that year, we were pounding some beer
At a joint that was loaded with 'tang!
I told a hundred blonde jokes to some neighboring blokes
And we laughed till the last call rang.

As the guys abscond, I'm surrounded by blondes
There was nobody else in the bar.
They gave me the look, so I decided to book,
But I never really got that far.

(Chorus)

They got me in a Tickle Tackle!
They pulled off my shoes, and then my feet were abused!
Cause it's a Tickle Tackle!
They showed me no mercy as they ripped off my jersey
In a Tickle Tackle!
And mercy sake, they wouldn't give me a break!
Throughout the Tickle Tackle!
They tickle! I giggle! They tackle, I cackle, oh yeah!!

-----------

The interrogation audio was derived from two non-commercial clips I found on the Internet. One was an interview ("Are you ticklish?") from a clip from the infamous Terri-Tickle. The other was from an F/M clip on Ticalasacca's web site, in which I captured only audio (hysterical laughing)

hey drew, do you have the instrumental track to this that you could either post here or send privately to me? i'd like to try something with this, but would need a clean instrumental. let me know :)I can remix it sans vocals. But the instrumental effects are already "bought to tape" so to speak. But I have the all of the instrumental tracks saved in midi format, so I could re-create them dry, if need be.

Drop me a PM and we'll talk about your ideas.
