Okay, this is mainly directed at straight males, but I encourage anyone to take this challenge and post their response.

I would like you to go and view an entire m/m clip from the TKVids subforum (or from youtube, dailymotion, or any of those free video sites), and then come back here and write about what went through your head. How long did you feel comfortable watching it for? Did your mind urge you to close the window and move on?

I have done this, but I'll refrain from writing anything until I get a few responses.

Many thanks in advance,

Artoo

Hm, I'd never tried that before. To be honest, I only made it about halfway. It made me angry. I'm a m/f ler who hates being tickled. Seeing a guy get tickled by another guy just made me relate to the lee, and because the ler was also male, I experienced none of the sexuality. All I saw was a guy tickle torturing another guy, and I related to the victim, which made me upset.

Thanks for replying :)

Before I watched the clip, I wondered what my reaction would be; whether I would find it (as a male switch) somewhat sexual etc. But I seemed to have quite a vanilla reaction to it, as it just seemed like guys goofing around as we often do.

I then watched another clip, where a guy was being tickled by a person of indeterminate gender (I could only really see their hands), and I found this to invoke a sexual reponse in me.

I think that one of the reasons m/m is so abhorred by some people in the tickling world is because it can come as quite a shock mid-wank if you suddenly find yourself not turned on at all.

I don't care for it. It's not that it's a guy being tickled, but I just don't care for watching clips where guys tickle guys or even guys tickling girls. really doesn't do much of anything for me.

I dig it. I actually don't like watching m/f tickling. my preference in order is f/f, f/m, m/m. I dunno I guess there's something about watching m/f that always makes the guy look super creepy to me and I worry if I'm like that, and then it messes with me lol.

Not into it.A womans laughter can sound musical at times but hearing a guys laugh just doesn't do it for me.Even moreso when it's M/M.Sometimes I can get into F/M stuff but not usually.

Too fruity for me.:eeew: Straight men simply don`t tickle each other. Nuff said.

yes..yes they can..I'm straight but i believe theres a point where it doesnt have to be sexual and you can just tickle someone..like they do in the m/m videos..

maybe im saying that cos ive reached the point of wanting to get tickled beyond.. id just about let anyone do it lol

but hey.. as im starting to learn.. theres no right or wrong with any of this...

I could be wrong but 99% of the straight men on this forum might disagree with you. :eeew:

I am bi, so not your specific target, but it doesn't bother me in the least. I rather enjoy m/m, just as I enjoy all combinations possible. If the 'ler and 'lee are having a good time it's all good in the book of HDS.

I do agree with what Pantera said, that the sexual side need not be omnipresent. This discussion has popped up before (see a recent Forbidden Female Rituals show on TMF Radio for one example) and I make a comparison often made there: two women tickling each other can be seen as nonsexual easily by many who might not see the same with two men. It's a societal thing, I suspect, and everyone's a right to their opinion. Just count me in the crowd that both enjoys watching it and doesn't see it needing to be sexual all the time.

probably right.. but from talking to guys on chat... there are a few that wouldnt mind.

I used to not be able to watch m/m vids.. but from watching a few clips.. i cant help but think damn that guy looks like hes losing his mind... and its not sexual there..

but watch an f/f clip or m/f or some f/m and you think whoa..thats hot...

am i making sense?? probably not...

Very good subject first off. I guess as some guys have said I must be one of the few males on the forum who are in that 1% that is not bothered by it. I mean im as straight as they come but like Pantera said id sit there watching the clip like damn that guys gotta be going crazy and just because its not what im into doesnt make me discard as if those doing it are outcasts. I think its kinda funny really watching somone getting detroyed by somthing as harmless as tickling male or female.

I mean I think there was another thread about somthing like this and in that thread I talk about how my MMA intructor once tickled my foot while I was rolling(grappling/wrestling) with another member in my class. Shit I even watched our senior badass linebacker try to tickle one of our lineman, back in HS when I was a sophmore, and even then with me just comming into my fetish and still being closeminded about male tickling...it still didnt bother me.

Of course straight guys can tickle each other... what kind of absurd, backwards thinking would make you say otherwise?

It made me uncomfortable because I have a warped perception of tickling tied into sex and power dynamics. Most guys don't.

Ok, I took the challenge.

Honestly, it didn't bother me or do anything for me for that matter. I've always been a "to each his own" kind of person. It's not my thing, but it's cool for those who like it. I don't see it as being "fruity" or anything like that. It's just an exhibition of different tastes.

Wow - the first blanket statement to ever be accurate...

...oh sorry...some sarcasm dripped..lemme get that...*dab dab*

This is the best manipulation of a false statistic I've ever seen...

Good topic though Ru :) and some surprisingly geniuine and well thought out responses :) ^5 to you guys willing to respectfully state your views -- whichever way they lean.

Went back 14 pages on the vid sections and not 1 m/m. How do people who prefer that particular configuration stand the lack of content? I'm gonna check out Youtube and will check back in later.

I finally agree with you on something.

while i dont think M/M necessarily means your gay, theres something about it thats just not right. makes a man less masculine i think.

Only if your definition of masculine is narrowly anchored to a particular image.

Whatever happened to the days when men were men? when we settled things by kicking ass. i think in this day and age, society has emasculated men. i just feel men are acting more like women these days.

Society grew up? Come on man, you don't really believe that there's something wrong about a man who isn't spending his days strutting around and acting tough, do you?
