Has anyone got any tips on asking a girl if she's ticklish, WITHOUT sounding like a complete fool or perv?

My advice is to get to know her well enough that you can tell her you like tickling people and ask if she'd mind being tickled. Might take a couple of dates.

It is a normal question my friend! Only to YOURSELF does it seem that way because only YOU know what tickling means to YOU!!! LOL ~ Did that make any sense??? Have fun ;-)

peace out,
daddy

Each scenario is different, but the main thing is to know the person you're asking.

I'm known by a lot of people as someone who's goofy, silly, always joking around and having fun. As people get to know me (and I them), doing things like a quick poke or threatening to sick the monster who lives under the bed on them come off as me just being me. But they have to know me well enough to know (or at least think they know) I'm just being a goofball, and I have to know them well enough that they're not going to think I'm just some weird guy (even though I am, but in a different sense).

Best of luck!

I love this question.

I don't know if you've ever seen my posts.. but..

On two occasions, with hair stylists, I was able to ask if they were ticklish, by mentioning that the hair clippers they used on me, tickled the back of my neck, saying how I was very ticklish, and then asking if they were. In one case, one hair girl told me not only her ticklishness, but also her 20 something daughter's lol. In the other, the hair girl just said "You're funny", and ignored the question.

Even though I don't have a gf at the present time, the last girl I asked about being ticklish is a friend, who has asked me far more personal questions than just being ticklish, so I just asked her straight out if she is ticklish. She said no, that she isn't.

Hope that helps. Good Luck.

Just get into a nice conversation, try to slowly work the ticklishness thing into the conversation, and then ask them if they are and don't act like a creep or perv when you ask. Try to play off their reply like its no big deal or a turn on if they answer yes. If the conversation then gets more intimate/ personal, try to work in the question more.

It worked for me and my current GF. But for others, it may not. It really all depends upon the individual.

Another way you can go about it is, bring up the subject of pedicures. Say you have a female friend who can't get them because she is too ticklish, then ask if that is something the girl you're talking to has ever ran into. It's a nice transition on getting the answer without sounding like a perv.

Well it worked! She is VERY ticklish!! I found out first hand! Thanks for all the advice guys!

"Ugh my back, I really should book a massage but I'm always a little worried it'll tickle. Know what I mean?"

Smoke signals work well.

But seriously, folks. . .

Like someone above said, it's not nearly as weird to them as it feels to us, so as long as you're not drooling or humping their leg while you ask, it'll likely be fine to bring up.

It's weird because this is another example of how it's easier for a girl to ask another girl if they are ticklish but if a guy wants to approach a girl about asking them the question it becomes tricky. I've literally had girl friends just spill the question and ask "Are you ticklish?" For guys it is a lot harder and scarier to do because you don't wanna come off as a real creep or weirdo lol. Like seanwoj said, try to work it into the conversation somehow. At the right time just be like "By the way are you even ticklish?"

I find that "Are you ticklish?" may get a slightly nervous smile but I don't think I've ever had a bad reaction from asking it.

Depends. If they know the girl and there has already been touching of any kind going on, nobody will think anything of it whatsoever. If that is not the case, don't even ask.

No different than asking or talking about any other aspect of a more personal nature. As a relationship develops, each shares more with the other. Some are more adept at these social skills than others. Read any book or article or other bit of advice available on the net about ways to behave or interact in a budding romantic relationship. Relax. Be yourself. And be aware of appropriate place and time.

I e-mail a "Get to Know You" quiz. Ten average questions. One of them is "On a scale of 1-10 how ticklish are you & where are you the most ticklish?" Most of the time they answer back.

Another way I used to do it..

I mentioned how before I joined the forum, I had a close friend/pen pal who was into tickling, who passed away. He and I used to ask all of our female pen pals, what we used to call "Our Favorite Question". Many times, we got answers. In my case, from dozens of girls, in snail mail letters, before my friend died, and I joined the forum.

Anyhow, to how I used to do it. I would, after a letter or two of normal conversation, discuss how I had been tickled in the past, and then ask the girl if tickling had ever happened to her, and if she was ticklish. MOST times, but not all, they answered, because, I posed the question in a seemingly innocent way, and not all.. ""I want to find out if you are ticklish, to get my jollies".

I don't know if this would count as "discreet", but this is how I used to go about it, and it worked.

My approach with my wife when we first started dating was through text message. "I'm reading here in a magazine that red heads are more ticklish than the average person" to which she replied "definitely, I'm the most ticklish person in the world!". Easy!

I usually let the girl see the TMF banner before I quickly close the page and let them ask what it was. It just falls in place after that.

Plenty of vanilla men have straight up just asked me if I were ticklish before so you could too, Big Baldy! :) I agree with daddy because people like us tend to over think tickling in general. If you get close enough to the lady to cuddle and watch a movie on the couch with her, it does make it easier. The guy I am dating now is vanilla always tickles me, especially during cuddling and right when he hugs me goodbye :) I know I am a woman and when it comes to this fetish while I may have it easier (as most men feel on here), I never got what I wanted by being discreet. Eventually you are going to need to bring it up but I would wait until you guys are cuddled up! Good luck!

Irvine, he said discreet! ;) I'm joking. I give you props for doing it that way! You are really brave!
