I think that adaptability is a rather underappreciated skill, mostly because it's one not many people possess. Honesty is a hard road; most people do not see their own faults, think themselves infallible to the point where all others are completely marginalized. You can't adapt yourself to being critical towards yourself. Or if are are tuned to be critical, you go over everything with a napalming touch, second guessing your third guesses, accepting blame after blame after blame until the stress

Ever felt like your station in life was threatened? Or even better, that you are not happy with said station? My sentiment is simple, and while I speak in opaqueness, I am rather clear minded in things I must change. I have a nasty habit of unexplainable mood shifts that rob me of sanity every so often, and I believe part of that stems from

It is currently below zero, and even if it isn’t, I can’t discern between the single digits. Breath catches in frozen pitches, the concrete packed with snow, covering icy patches hiding in darkness like pit vipers.
The bite of the fall isn’t gravelly anymore.
Bittersweet sheets pierce through a shaky veneer, and all that is left is the all encompassing night, distant stars dotting the city’s orange glow. The horizon is as it always is, and as I hazard
