Hmm. I would say bare for sure. However; certain socks can be quite thin/smooth and then there are nylons lol.

I like to experiment with tools because they do work quite well on some people. I prefer fingers as that's what works best on me with the right touch/technique. Some tools work on me and others I haven't tried. Overall, I think fingers but that is of course subjective. :)
