cause I get loadsa DMs from ppl saying they are shocked I’m a ler and trying to force me to rp with them and tell them what I would do (and I dont rp or act like a slave to guys demanding I do it)

but anyway, I always thought it was normal to be a ler as a female 😂
 
It’s most definitely not weird, but at the same time it’s definitely rare. I actually started off as 100% ler (in theory) way before engaging with the community, then I got curious about leeing and started having IRL sessions as a switch.

Annoyingly, I spent years getting swarmed by male lees who kept pestering me to tickle them. Seems like most women on the scene are either 100% lee or lee-leaning switches, at least in the U.K.

It's not weird, although I've probably known more female lees than lers.
 
What is "weird"? You have an interest, and you participate in it. You don't suffer those who automatically demand that you do or say things to please their own personal version of this interest.

I'd say it's far more weird that complete asshole strangers bombard you with demands and judgements based on the fact that you are open to a side of this interest that is perhaps less common or typical than what those same random asshole strangers have set into their narrow, simple minds as what should be "normal".

Then again, I'm an asexual autistic who likes to tickle but despises the sound of laughter, participating in a sexual fetish forum. Perhaps I should not offer my opinions about what classifies as "weird" until it's decided which of us is the pot and which is the kettle.

This is one of those areas that our tickle fixation seems to bring out---The incredible amount of misconceptions and expectations from people involved in the fixation who simply ARE NOT YOU! They project onto YOU what THEY want to experience or happen! I am glad that you feel so self secure in your own personality that you have your personal standards and won't back down on them (ie refusing to RP, refusing to go along with demands of others). Everyone needs to have strong sense of self esteem and self worth, in all areas of their lives, including our fixations and private behaviors! I am glad you set a great example of this to everyone!
But again as an experienced man who holds women in the highest regard, I do feel sorry for you and others who have to put up with such uncivilized behavior from posters/messagers who simply don't have the proper upbringing or mindset to engage with the opposite sex!

Looking at a lot of tickling videos I don't find it weird for a girl to be an extreme "ler. A lot of the best and most ruthless ticklers in tickling videos are girls. There are a lot of ticklish guys and good male ticklers as well. But I think girls are more ticklish, but also better ticklers.

No, it's not weird at all. Rare, maybe, but not weird. I wish there were more female lers

There are two main controls that a 'ler is concerned about losing -- control over the situation, and control over one's own emotions and reactions.

Being bound and helpless removes the control of the situation. Being subjected to tickling and the loss of control of your own psyche removes self-control.

Is it any wonder that being put into a situation of being bound, helpless and subject to another's torture, can induce feelings of terror and panic in a 'ler?

I’m hetero-romantic so I was only really interested in tickling guys I had crushes on. I have zero interest in tickling women or random guys I have no attraction to, but I was okay with tickling guys during sessions because I kind of felt like I “had” to or it wouldn’t be fair on the other person. Anyway, I’m much more of an upper body person and love the extreme reactions.

It's difficult to put it concisely, but it's more about their enjoyment/pleasure, however that manifests itself. Might be a certain way of breathing (heavy, measured breaths or fast, staccato breaths perhaps), it could be squirming or other physical movement meant to distract themselves, or it could be moaning or laughing or just saying "oh! oh! oh!". I've been spared the irritation of someone who's just screaming, or constantly saying "No! Stop! Don't!", which I would find endlessly annoying mostly because as an extremely literal person I have a greatly reduced capacity to understand the whole "stop doesn't really mean stop" thing.

I've mostly been tickled by women, and based on that limited data set I'd have to say: a girl who's a relentless ler is not anomalous at all.
