Ricky Gervase "Fame" tour...........

Any fellow Limey's been to this show? I went last week to Shittingham Ice Stadium (cant bring myself to type the correct name) it was a good night out, worth the trouble, but not as good as "Animals" or "Politics".

I think he was brilliant in the Office and extras to an extent but he just seems a bit bland to me...but then its all down to taste i guess im more in the Bill Bailey/Eddie Izzard brand of stand up.

I haven't been yet. Animals was excellent; Politics was good but a bit lazy and recycled a lot of material from his radio shows.

I think he's been on a bit of a downward spiral since Extras started. The Office is pure genius, Extras season one was very good but not as good, as you'd expect; then the episode of The Simpsons he wrote was pretty bad, and Extras season two was the weakest thing he and Steve Merchant have worked on together thus far. Still all right, but far beneath the level which they are capable of.

I'm still a big fan though. Thus the Karl Pilkington quote in my sig.
