to post your opinion on a topic? Now granted, HOW that opinion is delivered can turn into a huge problem for those involved if not everyone else. But recently, I've noticed a couple let's say.....naysayers who dont like it, when people tell the truth. In all my years being on this board, if someone didnt like something, they said it. They voiced their opinion, right? One of the subjects I am talking about is;

Not to my understanding you did not. I've been and posted at the second thread. It really does not matter to me whether or not its true, but to me people are getting worked up over nothing. Makes for an interesting story one way or the other.

The poster in the alleged "true" story was a minor honbun. It's been 86'd. You didn't miss anything. It was obviously a load of crap anyhoo.

And Miss String Queen? This is yet another one of those valid rants that prob should have been brought privately to one of the mods? Since it's out though, I'll tread carefully: Even someone who knows they're a moron doesn't want to be reminded that they're a moron. Do you see what I'm saying?

i agree. a handful of posters have been a bit more negative that necessary, and often times downright disrespectful of others. i won't mention names, but there is a couple that bother me because of their total lack of positive influence on the forum. wtf happened?

Ya know what steph, it crossed my mind. But I didnt want to bother the mods for something so trivial. Besides, some of the situation has been handled.

Understood sweets, but...you've GOT to give the mods their due, hmm? They can't be everywhere, police everyone, every idiot on every thread. And, how can you be against freedom, freedom is good right? They give us a lot of it on here.

Did you ever watch "People vs. Larry Flynt"?
Now, I don't care too much for Larry's smut peddler approach to the adult industry (I'm more of a Hef's girl) but, he did have a great ground-shaking quote (I'm paraphrasing due to exhaustion) : "If the first amendment can protect a pig like me, think what it might do for a normal Joe like you..."

These people with their stories might be fine in the gen stories section but when you try to sell sorority "torture" tales and this "mom and son" lameness as "TRUE" you insult everyone on the forum. Put it in fiction where we all know it belongs. Everyone with an IQ above 25, that is, everyone who spends hours writing fantasies about real life members like you and me. No one's saying don't fantasize, but when your tale hits the "I'm too stupid to live" redline, there's going to be a backlash. People are going to be pissed. And rightly so. For the most part, the members here are waaaaaaaaay too smart to fall for that crap. Your pool story was 100% beleiveable, same with the chick who "got" her co-worker.
People WITH intelligence just felt theirs was insulted w/the BS tales. I think that's all it boils down to.

I've had a few 'run-ins' w/a couple members who've posted unnecessary , negative responses. It used to be that I would just look the other way & not say anything about these kinda things , but I've gotten tired of reading these demeaning , disrespectful posts by 'forum-bullies' ... & recently have decided to 'call them out' on their inappropriate conduct & lack of tact.

I really like coming here ... & I would rather not see this place tainted by the growing number of bad seeds who are potentially chasing away positive-contributing-members w/their rudeness.
